4 Brothers Pizza — Restaurant in Vancouver

Came here this evening for the first time, and probably our last time. My husband ordered 6 slices of pizza. 3 of them being PEPPERONI... okay? Pepperoni. The girl with the white hat gave him 1 pepperoni and 2 pepperoni and mushrooms. I had. Few bites of the pep/mushroom one and was like weird.. the first one didn't taste like this.

I stopped eating because I'm quite allergic to mushrooms. I went in and said do you have two types of pepperoni ? The girl said yes we do. I said my husband asked for just pepperoni why would you give him two with mushrooms? She had nothing to say except "who served you" I said really? My husband was in here 5-10 mins ago. I called him and he said she did. While I'm talking to him she's peeling off pepperoni from the pizzas to see what I don't know LOL. My husband went back in to handle it cause I wasn't happy. My husband had to tell her that obviously I'm not going to make my wife sick by ordering something with mushrooms. Pepperoni is just that - damn pepperoni. Not mushrooms.

Thankfully I'm not severely allergic to mushrooms and will live thanks to allergy meds. There were zero tags or labels with the pizzas either. Also, I think your staff should listen.

Hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else. Husband got a refund and we will stick to our regular place. So much for trying...

A friend brought me here last year and I have returned a number of times since then. I come for the many different pizza slice options. After my last visit, I felt I needed to provide this review. Each time I have visited I'm usually set upon by one of the staff with "Can I help you?" in a rather unfriendly and loud voice. No greeting or anything. I didn't make anything of it the first few visits but yesterday when I brought a friend there who is visiting from another country, even he was taken a bit aback. Just the whole rushed customer service experience, down to the way the staff just wave the parmesan shaker over your slices of pizza without really even dispensing any on it. To me just seems the place is a bit tired or lacklustre. What finally did it was the quality of the slices we received. They had obviously been sitting a while and although the ones we chose had lots of sauces on top, the crust and overall texture and quality of the slices were not good. (HOWE ST) Wow!! Where to start, We called on Valentine’s day to ask about a heart shaped pizza & this was the ONLY place in Vancouver that would do it! We ordered a large but gave us an XL and only charged us for a large. Next, they hand mixed us the sauces we asked for on the side and threw in an extra as well. They didn’t charge us for the sauces either! Finally it’s time to try the pizza. It is hands down the best pizza my partner and I have ever had. We looked at eachother with ginormous eyes as our mouths were stuffed full. They cut the bell peppers so they looked like flowers, the crust was absolutely incredible & the toppings were so fresh! Everyone in the shop was smiling at us ear to ear and made sure we were happy with every detail. They went above and beyond for us & the kindness radiates from the owners.
