My wife and I made the long trip in the rain to visit the restaurant hoping to take chicken wings to go. We arrived at the restaurant at 20:33, fully aware that the posted closing time (according to Google and business hours on the front door) was 21:00, but we were denied the opportunity to make an order.
The staff explained that they don't accept orders 30 minutes before closing, which was disheartening, as businesses are generally expected to adhere to their published business hours, and it's considered good customer service. We believe that it's a basic practice to serve customers during the hours that are publicly posted. If the restaurant's closing time was 21:00, it should be reasonable to expect service until that time.
We believe that it's crucial for any business to maintain consistency in its operations. If the practice of closing early is common in this restaurant, we advise the management to revise and publish the correct business hours. It's misleading to customers who make an effort to visit based on the posted hours. If your cook goes home at 20:30, it should be reflected in your closing time, which is, in reality, 20:30, not 21:00.
If we had known about this early closing practice, we would not have made the long trip in the rain. We felt very disappointed by the experience, which could have been avoided with the correct information regarding your business hours. We hope this feedback will prompt a review of your business practices and encourage you to post the correct business hours to prevent others from facing similar disappointment.
Please, make the adjustments to ensure that future customers are not let down by inconsistent closing...
Read moreThis poor rating is due to solely on the rude cashier at this branch.
It was my first time ordering from here. I had ordered through UberEats because I had trouble reaching them via phone. I made 3 orders, and assumed that it was full size per order - as it wasn’t specified on UberEats menu (as per photo). I go in to pickup the food, and it was 3 HALF orders.
I pointed out to the cashier, but she argued it should say ‘Half’ on UberEats. I showed her my order invoice which did not reflect that, but literally didn’t say anything and just ignored.
I ended up making two additional orders on the spot because I was introducing Korean chicken to 5 of my coworkers, and wanted to make sure have more than enough.
And upon making that additional order, I politely pointed out that the naming UberEats menu was very misleading, and that it should be changed (other bb.q branches have portions specified) to prevent this confusion to future customers. This could be particularly misleading to Koreans like myself, as traditionally 1 order is typically understood as a full order. But again, all I got back was dead silence, making me feel pretty awkward.
I waited for 20 minutes outside for the additional order, and when the cashier opened the door to hand me the order, she didn’t even step out the door. She jarred the door open slightly, and stretched her one arm out, and I literally had to walk to her to grab my order. She did not say a single word - not even a typical, generic, heartless “Thank-You”. This place just lost business to 6 customers, for the sake of...
Read moreYou need to actually say on both your website AND delivery apps that your chicken is coated in peanuts . Your current allergy warning is general and vague . My son suffered serious consequences (anaphylaxis) as a result of a combination of a person ordering the chicken not thinking the warning was for the chicken and the restaurant chain for not properly labelling their chicken as completely coated in peanuts. This should be front and centre at the top of your website and on delivery apps . This is a life threatening allergy and in Canada we do not expect peanuts crushed up on fried chicken ! I hope the entire chain updates their allergy warnings .
In response : I called your restaurant yesterday and staff who answered the phone told me YOU USE peanuts in your chicken batter . If that is NOT the case you need to educate your staff ! There was either contamination (lots) or peanuts present IN THE BONELESS CHICKEN . This was the only item ordered . Again your allergy warnings are there but are vague and not prominent . Again why would your staff tell me there are peanuts in your batter if...
