Cups are too thin!!!! When stabbing the straw, the side of the cup cracked open and milk tea exploded everywhere, and I mean everywhere. Our pants, shirt, shoes….I’ve never had this happen before. We lost more than half our milk tea, and it was too much of a hassle to go back to the cafe. We drove somewhere else to enjoy the tea, and had to go home immediately to change. We were also too afraid to stab open the other cup until we got home.
The milk tea was ok, price was cheaper than many other places. The cafe looks family owned and I wanted to give it a try and support local. Reminds me of the old bubble tea shops that used to be around Vancouver. When I walked it, I was surprised how incredibly tiny the space was. Also felt like they really didn’t care how the shop looked like to customers. The space was covered up with mismatched plastic white boards and peeling tape, so we can’t see inside the store.
If you’re looking for cheap bubble tea, the price is great. But be careful of...
Read moreEven after covid situation improved, they didn’t bring back the seating area. It’s fine though but they blocked the place off in a way that’s not very welcoming. Pretty cramp in there now, you have to wait for the person in front of you to order and grab their drink before you can go in to order.
I only like 1 drink here, Oreo taro slush with Pearl (sometime Pearl is undercooked tho). And I like their pork wonton in chilli oil (the first time I thought they were too strong and taste kinda funny but I’ve been addicted ever since.) They taste very different than other spicy wonton and is actually spicy! Very addicting flavour!
Sis like fresh honey dew slush with milk but we learnt today that they no longer offer the fresh fruit option of this, just powder. Since cantaloupe is on recall, they recommended papaya slush and it was...
Read moreI don’t feel like writing an essay about this, but this place is honestly amazing. My brother and I are very critical about bubble tea and only go to the places we consider are the best, and bubble bear is the best (in Vancouver which is packed with bubble tea places). I really recommend trying it out, the pearls are perfect and the tea is juicy. At a lot of bubble tea places they have good pearls but their tea is just sweet water, but bubble bear is something else. It also usually only takes like 45 seconds for them to make our teas and the service is very friendly too. I really recommend...
