Visited their food truck on Sunday, May 14 around 3:00pm at Tsawwassen Mills. We were at the west end of the mall where the restaurants are. Not sure if the mall was having some sort of event as there were a small number of food trucks in the area. Anyways, before I begin, I never look too much into the price of restaurants when doing a review for a few reasons. Since the pandemic, I figure the restaurant industry has been in really tough, so I would assume they are charging a little higher to recoup some of their costs and lost revenue, not to mention inflation. Also, if the food is good, then within reason, I would think its good value in that it probably took a lot of time and energy to make it. This leads me to Burgerholic, food truck. I ordered the regular BurgerHolic burger and my partner ordered the FishaHolic (Fish burger). To start with mine, its a 6oz beef patty that comes with standard fair; cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles and their "signature BH sauce". I asked what BH sauce is and was told its a chipotle mayo sauce. Food came up in around 7 minutes. After finding a seat, opened the burger and it looked good, almost like the picture on the truck. The only part is that its quite small. I added a picture with my hand and my daughter's hand to get some sort of scale. The meat was not overcooked, juicy but could have been seasoned a little more. Didn't get too much out of the BH sauce. I think it could have used a little more heat. My daughter noticed that it was processed cheese and not actual cheddar, which she likes. Overall, I thought the taste was OK, but for price of $13.98, should I not expect better? If you wanted anything else added to the burger, such as bacon or avocado, then its an additional charge of $3.00, which after tax would take it close to $20. I tried my partner's fish burger. They use their BH sauce with cheese, lettuce and pickles. Fish patty, if I can call it that, was deep fried. The fish had good crunch, but was then hit with a "fishy" taste. My partner is OK with this, but I am not a really big fan of this "fishy" taste. Maybe its supposed to be like this, but I always thought when it comes to fish, you should not taste that "fishiness". I think it means that the fish was not handled correctly, which is a possibility since I think they support fresh ingredients, i.e. left it out a little too long, or something like that. Price on the burger was also $13.98 and for some reason it looked bigger than the burger? (sorry, do not have a picture of the fish burger). Overall, was underwhelmed by the Burgerholic food truck. The service was good. Food came out quick and the staff seemed very pleasant.

We've been spoiled having this great truck stop at our facility once a week. I've tried their hamburger - quite good and very filling but my favourite is their signature fries with side of spicy chipotle/ketchup dipping sauce! I mentioned to the cool cook that they must be using crack coz it's so addictive! I like that they remain crispy even after 30 minutes. I always pick up a small order on way home and put them on a foil tray and warm them for 10 minutes and they come out crisp n delicious. I also hear that their chicken burger is the bomb so I'll try that next! Photo is the super cool truck and owner serving up my to go delicious fries!

We had the Burgerholic Food Truck come and cater our staff appreciation event at our Head Office with 3 companies attending in total. It was great! Everyone was super happy with the food, the chicken burger was amazing - whatever sauce they use on their burgers is just out of this world. Highly recommend them, they are so accommodating, went out of there way to ensure one of our staff members could enjoy lunch that had dietary restrictions, was cost effective and overall was a great experience with Burgerholic! Highly recommend.

Three stars for a mid score, as I did not eat the food. Saw the truck parked by the Scotia bank in north van. Was very excited to try a new to me burger truck, was going to grab a couple of burgers for supper. The menu based on the name of the truck was very disappointing, not even sure what the pricing was and did not care. When I think burgers, all the different options that can be put together to create a number of tantalizing selections comes to mind. Two beef burger selections is sad for a truck called the Bugerholic. With all the other options on the menu the truck should just have the owners name on it and advertise as a fast food restaurant. Was so disappointed at the lack of selections I just walked away. Good concept, but if you are going to be a burger truck then be a burger truck, you are just a fast food restaurant on wheels. Very unfortunate as I was looking forward to a good artisan burger. Good luck to your business going forward and I will check the menu now and then to see it the selection gets better. If it does I will happily give your...

This review is for the food truck. In response to the owners reply: I think you need to go and eat at the food truck, it is clearly a frozen store bought patty and costco type fries, why get hung up on Costco, store bought sound better? I'm almost certain the restaurant would have better burgers but I wouldn't go after experiencing the food truck, food for thought dont you think? My critique is for your benefit and I'm happy to change it when the truck provides burgers like the ones displayed on your website.

Review below is from March 31, 2022 Serving what tastes like Costco beef patties and Costco fries for the price of restaurant food. At least go the extra mile and give us a decent burger, after all, the name of your company is BurgerHolic. Please dont defend your product, it is below par not worthy of being served by a restaurant called BURGERHOLIC! also doesnt take any more time than it did if you would give fresh cut fries or something. Costco...
