Where do I start with this delightful restaurant.

I went to a Korn concert mid week with a friend and everything closed by the time it let out.

Joey popped up my google feed as a late night place to eat. I saw that it had great reviews so we decided to give it a shot.

Boy did we ever hit gold in these Vancouver hills.

The atmosphere is on the contemporary higher end lounge side. Upon arrival we were immediately greeted and offered a seat with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine.

The server we got was Cam. He was a delight from start to finish. He was able to answer every question I had regarding my laundry list of allergies and confirm with confidence that anything I wanted was possible, which they did phenomenally.

So i ordered a 6oz Filet Mignon, seasoned with salt & pepper with a special request of that steak to be wrapped in bacon. I veto’d my sides for extra extra fries, which i was told were shoestring but of good quality.

As we waited our drinks arrived promptly and with a smile and a great attitude by our server. Nothing but great conversations all night and prompts service.

They showed up prior ro service with cutlery and napkins, that were carefully laid out in front of me and my friend.

The meals came in good time and looked amazing.

Then came the taste.

Upon first bite i realized I was eating the best filet mignon i have ever had in my life. Seasoning on point and the bacon cooked enough to fall apart but not burnt. Also added the perfect amount of smokiness to my steak. The shoestring fries were cooked and seasoned to perfection.

My friends serloin was equally as brilliant.

Their crispy mashed potatoes are something of genius. I won’t ruin the experience but they are a must when you are here.

Hands down the best food experience i have ever had in Vancouver. And I have been to an lot of places due to heaps of shows I have come over for.

I hope you open one up in Victoria or Sidney BC one day. I would support it 100%

After having a horrid experience down the road at the Rec Room Granville, we walked down and Joey’s was able to take our party of 10 on a Saturday. We briefly told the manager what happened and immediately we felt heard and respected. Our cake that we brought with us was taken to the kitchen to be put into the fridge til after our meal. They offered us a round of glasses of champagne since it was a 3 person birthday party and seated us in a perfect section so we could be together. Our waitress Izzy, incredible is not a good enough word to describe her. Polite, heard our story and sympathized, was right on the ball every step of the way. When asked the usual annoying “what do you recommend?” She gave us the best options and wasn't joking around. The blackened chicken and burgers were excellent. Before our food even came, she was right back with drinks and even surprised us with a round of shots on her. And to boot, i got a non alcoholic shot that wasn't just water. Food followed. Clean up followed. Our cake with candles and song. Amazing.

We didn’t ask for special treatment. We literally just wanted to sit together and have a meal and drinks and our cake to celebrate our birthdays. And this restaurant…this restaurant….has now made it an impossible task to follow. I cannot wait to tell all my coworkers, friends and clients to come there for an amazing time. Thank you...

From the moment we walked in, everything about our evening was flawless. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and beautifully designed — elegant without feeling stuffy. The lighting, music, and layout created the perfect setting for a relaxing, upscale night out. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was clearly crafted with care and precision, from the appetizers to the dessert. The flavors were delicious, and the presentation was picture-perfect. It’s clear the kitchen knows exactly what they’re doing. But what truly made our experience unforgettable was our server, Izzy. She was an absolute standout. Friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive without ever being intrusive. Izzy anticipated our needs before we even had to ask — offering thoughtful recommendations, ensuring everything was timed just right, and making us feel genuinely welcome and taken care of. Her professionalism and warmth elevated the entire evening. It’s rare to find service that strikes the perfect balance between personable and polished, but Izzy nailed it. She’s a true asset to the team and a big reason why we’ll be returning — and recommending this place to everyone we know. Five stars all around.
