I recently had the pleasure of starting my day at Caviar Bistro, a fantastic breakfast spot in Vancouver. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. When we went here, the service was really slow. There were about 10 tables and I eventually noticed none of them had food. I assumed the kitchen was understaffed. However, we were also neglected by our server. Drinks never refilled, coffee creamer requested but not delivered, Never asked how the food was, and never brought the check.

I thought it was an isolated problem until someone from outside came in to get their own coffee. A manager rushed over and said he would do that, to which the customer replied, "I've asked two different people already, I'll just get it." That sums up my experience as well.

I was also overcharged for a side that was included with the meal, which they immediately corrected. I wonder how many are having this happen and not noticing.
