CoCo Bubble Tea（Joyce） — Restaurant in Vancouver

I asked the employee if they had vegan options cause I’m vegan and milk makes me really sick. The guy said that yes, they do have a non-dairy option. So I ordered a bubble tea with milk, asked for the plant based one.

But then, I saw them making my drink with a pre made mix in a pitcher. So I wanted to confirm that it was vegan and the guy said that there was in fact lactose in the mix !!! So I had to order again, completely wasting the first drink… asked for a drink that I had a few days before when the employee confirmed it was coconut milk. This employee now told me that there was actually cheese ?!?? in the pomelo mango sago one ?!

I ended up ordering a grapefruit one, which was good.

But service was terrible and super dangerous for people with allergies or food...

The staff at this store are clearly racist. A short-haired female employee has repeatedly yelled at us with Asian faces, but is friendly to people of other ethnicities. I went in to order bubble tea, and just because I didn't hear her clearly, she shouted loudly at me.

This isn't the first time this has happened. Because I come often and sometimes bring my friends, we have all been treated rudely by this employee.

You should improve your ability to select employees. Do I have to tolerate this treatment when I'm spending money here? WORST...

The milk tea was so watered down it tasted like water I'm not even kidding. They were also stingy with giving toppings compared to other locations and I say that even as someone who doesn't like too much toppings in their bubble tea. The lady working there is not fit for the job. No smile, no thank you, and she immediately starts chatting in Chinese with her colleague. This is the worst Coco I've been to and their low (currently 2.8) Google rating is actually reflective of their business and...
