Ordered from Dragon Bowl using the in-person kiosk. The staff said it would be around 15 minutes, but my food was probably ready in 5 minutes! I did come at an off-peak time around 4 pm. I had a jumbo shrimp bowl (which came with a sauce and 3 sides of my choice). I believe there's no markup on the food and it's the same price as their other locations, for Dragon Bowl at least. My bowl, including tax, came to $18.45. It was alright. The bowl came with 8 shrimp, and while I wouldn't call them jumbo, they were sweet with a good bounce. My favourite side ordered was the beansprouts. I found the wood ear mushrooms to have too much oil, which took away from any distinct mushroom flavour. The celery/carrots are as advertised. The bowl desperately needed more sauce. The mushroom sauce barely coated the shrimp, which left the rice and sides mostly dry.
The staff were very friendly. However, I think having this concept does take away some of the service you'd get at a standalone storefront. On the Club Kitchen website that I saw the prior day, I recalled that Dragon Bowl's menu indicated which sides were "spicy," "not spicy," etc. At the kiosk, there was no indication. It may have been written in Chinese, but I couldn't read it. When I asked the staff which sides were spicy or not, they couldn't assist, and did not volunteer to ask the Dragon Bowl staff for clarification. The interior seating area is bright and they also have patio tables, which will be great for the summer. Individual washrooms are accessible in an adjacent building (staff need to accompany you to unlock the door). Aside from the kiosk, you can order with the staff at the front or online in-advance. Good concept if you're ordering from multiple vendors, but I may just go to a standalone Dragon Bowl if wanting their bowls - at least you will be able to ask menu questions, or for...
Read moreThis is kind of a hub for cloud kitchens. You can order from any combination of the Club Kitchen restaurants and have them delivered (with one delivery fee) or pick them up together. Sometimes the restaurants come and go, but there are currently 7 kitchens here all serving different cuisines. Both delivery and pickup are available. If you're picking up, you can order through the website or use one of the in-store kiosks. I usually order online for pickup ASAP and then walk 10 minutes to the storefront, and my order is almost always ready when I arrive or shortly after. There are attendants in store who will give you your order. They are usually friendly enough. There's some seating inside - it's not super comfortable since there's no atmosphere and the space is kind of small, but it gets the job done if you just want a place to sit and eat. Their tables outside are much nicer. I'm leaving a review for informational purposes, but it's difficult to give this place an overall rating since your experience will depend heavily on the restaurants you order from. I'll give Club Kitchen as an establishment 4 stars for serving as a simple platform to order from several kitchens with the bonus of a clean physical storefront with seating. The only thing I can think of that could realistically be improved on is that the website works great on desktop but crashes my browser when I try to use it on mobile, but maybe it's...
Read moreLove this location, new concept of takeaway/dine-in food court. one place to get many famous restaurant food in 15mins. I am so impressed with Pearl Castle(圓香)! As Taiwanese, their wok dishes like kung paw chicken(宮保雞丁)and fried chicken nuggets (台式鹽酥雞)are definitely delicious~they have 2 locations in Richmond, and now I can just get it fresh from downtown Vancouver. Also Thai away home, their curry and pad Thai were my favorite, now they have one more location here which is so convenient.
If you live nearby, just order online and grab here at the time you prefer. Or deliver THEM on only one delivery bill. At this place, you can find fast food burgers wings fries, Japanese sushi, Taiwanese fried rice, Chinese bowl, Indian butter chicken, Thai curry, Italian pizza, and Hong Kong handmade Desserts.
Convenient food ordering options for small household to party group meals. It might be missing the warmest part of a normal restaurant-greetings and service, but this is a club kitchen, basically all restaurant owners just run a small kitchen without front desk and servers, so it makes sense to have low customer service but convenient ordering multiple restaurants at a...
