Best statue in the city. Terry Fox is a Canadian Hero! If you want to learn more there is an overview of his life to the north of the statue. Or!! Join a tour by Toonie Tours, they visit the statue on the Great Canadian Walking Tour and they tell his story in a unique, honest, and inspiring way. This statue is just outside the BC Place Stadium. Terry Fox's story is one to learn about, and to study. A very gutsy young man who empowered all of Canada and the world to fight and to be strong. The statue is very profound as the 4 pieces show him at actual size, and growing to something larger than life, which in effect, he did during his attempt to run across the continent. Don't go to spend time in the plaza; go to learn about Terry Fox and the short, incredibly inspirational...

A nice tribute to Terry Fox outside BC Place, which is at the main entrance to the sports hall of fame. There are usually lots of skate boarders ripping around this part of the stadium, and using the stairs near the Terry Fox statues to do tricks..
