Came here for my anniversary dinner, and ordered the date night platter. Service was friendly, but not exactly much more than that. At most points during this experience, they didn't seem to be paying attention. We ordered the Date Night* Platter.
To start off, we made it clear that neither of us were drinkers (for both personal and medical reasons). Despite that, we were not given any price accommodation to the meal, even though by not having any wine, we were effectively ripping ourselves off. I've never had this issue in a restaurant before. Literally never. So instead we got Non-alcoholic orange spritzers that frankly tasted like a more disgusting version of canned bubly sparkling water. So right off the bat, we already are feeling a little scammed.
When our Burrata salad arrived, a server said he would get us spoons- he never returned with the spoons. The salad was actually delicious. Even though we had to eat it with forks, which was complicated given the gooey viscosity of the cheese.
The platter then arrived a fair while later. Presentation was nice- nearly everything else was not. The Tuna and Striploin were both cold, and dry. It was immediately evident that they had been sitting on the counter, losing any heat or juices as I assume they waited for the Lobster Ravioli to finish- as that was the only thing on the entire platter that was actually served with any heat whatsoever. We ordered our Striploin Medium Rare- it was dry, chewy, and tough. Terrible from first bite. The Tuna was also very dry. I legitimately had no idea what the intended serving temperature of the Tuna was actually supposed to be, because it was lukewarm. Worst of both worlds. Very disappointing. The french fries as well were stone cold and felt stale. Nothing about this dinner besides the Lobster Ravioli tasted fresh or worth the dollar paid for it.
It was obvious that all of the food was prepared in a disorganized manner, sitting, & getting cold. When you're paying $150 (before tax/tip mind you) for a platter, and everything comes out the way it did- you really question where that money is going. I briefly considered asking the server to microwave our food, before realizing that would be embarrassing for both us and the kitchen staff, so I held my tongue. The fact I even had to consider it though was embarrassing, seeing as I have gotten hotter, better food, for far cheaper, at far more "middle class" restaurants.
In regards to that, such a meal should be served as a Three-course instead of an all-at-once platter, so that each can be appreciated as they come out and are consumed in their (I assume) actually intended state. If it's explicitly called "date night", why is it served like as if 4+ people would all be picking at it? The delivery & presentation of the meal was so anti-climactic, that it killed any romantic vibes. No build up, no pacing, and all over at once- there is a deep level of irony here.
Lastly, I have to comment on the inconsistent dress code. It was something we took seriously before arrival. After seating, we saw several patrons (on the more senior side) wearing yoga pants that ended at the shins w/ reebok sneakers & a visor, as well as an older gentlemen that with a loose walmart-looking shirt and jeans. It was jarringly immersion breaking, and suddenly shifted the vibe from being this sky-high esteemed restaurant to feeling more like an old folk's home or a bingo club. To me, that showed that this restaurant cares more about money than truly committing to its advertised experience. In that regard, it actively made the patrons like myself who actually dressed up, feel overdressed.
Regretfully have to say this experience was extremely disappointing, and I would not and will not be recommending this to anyone, ever. I really wanted to enjoy my Anniversary here, and my friends and peers can attest that I am typically very lax when things go awry, but this was just not...

To clarify:
The General Manager and Assistant General Manager only responded promptly to a mutual friend of ours, not us, whom we voiced our concerns to after the many failed attempts to get a response from them. As per the mutual friend, a $200 gift card would be offered as compensation for the water incident and sent to the guest of honor (birthday girl) but the offer was then rescinded because they were unhappy with the numerous one-star reviews posted.
According to our receipt attached, we were charged 11.4 bottles of still water, not seven as indicated in your response. If the .4 indicates the bottles were split, then it should be at least a total of 12 bottles. 12 bottles of still water x $8 cost per bottle = $96. There were 19 guests so if two guests opted out, then it would be 17 guests that split the water. $96/17 guests = $5.65, however the receipt says 11.4 Still bottle @ $7.02. $7.02 x 17 guests = $119.34 which is more than $96.
The receipt attached also has a total cost discrepancy. The total on the bill was $115.66, however the debit sale says $120.22. When asked why there was an additional $4.56 charged, the server said he had to add $2 to everyone’s bill because the other table opted out of the water charge and since this bill was for 2 people, $4.56 was added to the total. This charge did not make sense to us but we did not want to argue and ruin our night.
The tip amount on the receipt attached is 21%, not the standard 20% as claimed. And just to be honest and transparent, after leaving the restaurant some of the guests shared they had paid 18% so there were indeed fluctuations in the tip amount applied across all bills.
Complimentary celebratory champagne was not offered to the table. A single glass of champagne was offered to the guest of honor at the VERY END of the dinner when only 3 guests remained. This was only brought out at the end because the guest of honor reminded the server that he had offered to give her a “little birthday treat” earlier in the evening. The server also brought out two shots of tequila, one for the birthday girl and the other one for himself.
These are not baseless disputes and it is disappointing to see the restaurant’s attempt to misrepresent the experience we had and allege the reiteration of our reviews are false and coordinated. We are not looking for compensation, just acknowledgement for what happened which we did not get.

Original review from Mar 5th: Extremely disappointing restaurant. It’s been almost 2 weeks since our disastrous dinner at this restaurant and the gm continues to ignore and ghost the numerous emails and calls that have been made to him. Definitely not attempting to rectify anything.
If you want to wait 40 minutes for your drinks, or be charged still and sparkling water as part of a "bundle" that was not communicated to you, then this is the restaurant for you. Make sure to ask for Beau to be your server if you want varying automated gratuity charges too. Shady practice.
While I do not recommend this restaurant and will be sharing my experience with others so they are cautious to come here, this review is not about compensation. It is about the classless act this restaurant has displayed and the failure to handle the situation properly. It shouldn't take multiple negative reviews to get an ounce of resolution or a sincere apology for mishandling...
Read moreMade a reservation for 4:15 on a Tuesday, my friend had arrived about 5 min earlier and was seated outside and ordered a drink before my arrival. There was already a very large group seated there. I arrived at 4:15 and waited about 15 min before our server finally came and took my drink order. The drink took another 15 min to arrive, and after the drink was dropped off, it took another 5 or so minutes for the server to come back and take our food orders. We kept one menu at the table in case we wanted to order more for later.
Although I was sitting right next to my friend, the noise level became unbearable as we couldn't even hear each other while chatting. After we ordered 2 items, we flagged a staff member down to see if we could be relocated somewhere more quiet. She came back within 10 min to bring us inside which was thankfully much quieter.
Our new server arrived and asked to take our orders and we informed her we had already submitted our order, however we weren't sure if there would be an issue since we had been seated outside originally. She dismissed our concern and reassured us not to worry about that with a wave of her hand so my friend and I chatted while we waited. Another 10-15 min passed by and none of the food had arrived; we flagged our server down to ask if the food was on the way. She came back 5 min later to report that the food had actually only been rang in 10 min ago ... And that it should be out in another 5-10. At that point, my friend and I had definitely ordered at least half an hour ago. The food took another 15 min to arrive, so overall it took 40-45 min for us to receive our food from the time we had originally ordered.
Service thereafter was not attentive. We did order truffle fries to nibble on and that did come out at a more reasonable time.
Mushroom arancini was yummy, the fish comes were alright and the truffle fries were quite a large portion. My friend's zero proof cocktail was tasty as well but tasted mostly like pineapple and my strawberry Aperol spritz was okay too.
I'm not sure if they were short-staffed or they didn't expect it to be that busy during happy hour on a Tuesday, however the service was extremely slow. I can't say any of the members we interacted with were very friendly besides the hostess. All of the servers appeared very disorganized. It was our first time at Parker Rooftop and I will say it did not quite meet...
