Just so everyone knows, here apparently they donât have to remove all the lifting when they do a fill. Because of this I have severe lifting throughout the tips of my nails with extra discoloration. This odd lifting actually started from my first ever new set here so no one is to blame but them and it didnât start with a ton of lifting either. They never did file and fill them like everywhere else does. Also apparently they do not have to shape them after doing a fill đđ so if theyâre lumpy thatâs not apart of a fill either. And the fill price does not include any kind of top coat, so if you canât afford the top coat then you leave with unsealed scuffed looking nails. This is what I was told when I went in to fix these issues.
My nails never looked exactly how I like them, was having some weird new issues that Iâve never had before but they are cheap so I didnât ask for everything to be fixed. I was going here for awhile. They were really good at fixing issues until this time. I went in for a color change, they filed it off and they were way too thin so I asked how much to thicken the nails too which I couldnât afford because they would make me pay full price so I decided to get a âfillâ just so they would thicken them because I literally couldnât afford a color this time as well. I left and they were not thicker at all! One actually broke the next week. Also they were lumpy, not buffed to being smooth AND they put regular polish on top of them which is so unprofessional. I asked for them to fix the issues but when I went in to fix them they told me I have to pay for a full fill and color but the ânail repair is freeâ I left because I wasnât going to pay for another terrible job at full price. The break was their fault because the only thing I asked for that time was it to be thick which it was not thus wasting my money and time that day.
In response: The other salon did not do a terrible job. I never said or thought that. I didnât like the colour and they were a little thin. Getting the fill wasnât about a bad job, it was just for thickness.
I told you all about the issues in detail because I had faith in this place but you just stood by all of the mistakes and turned what you could...
Read moreMy wife and I visited this salon for the first time today. Weâve walked by many times since moving into the neighborhood and were always impressed by how bright, spacious, and well-laid-out it looked. However, it usually seemed too busy to walk in without an appointment. Today, we finally found an opportunity to try it out.
From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. We were quickly seated in large, comfortable massage chairs and offered tea. My wife had a regular pedicure with nail painting, while I opted for the pedicure with a hot oil and stone massage. Iâve never had hot stones on my feet and calves before, but now Iâm soldâit was well worth the price. On Mondays, they offer a $5 discount on all pedicures, and our total came to $91 before tip, which we felt was fair for the quality of service.
The staff were polite, professional, and detail-oriented. We also appreciated their commitment to hygieneâafter each client finished, the chairs and workstations were thoroughly cleaned.
While we had a great experience overall, a couple of things took away from the relaxing spa atmosphere:
The bathroom door alert â Every time someone used the restroom, a speaker announced, âThe back door is open.â After hearing this 30â40 times during our visit, it became quite disruptive. Iâve never encountered anything like this in a spa setting, and it really took away from the ambiance.
Music and video choices â Instead of the calming background music typical of a spa, they had modern pop music videos on one TV and sports on another. It felt more like a lounge or sports bar than a place of relaxation. While this might appeal to some, it didnât align with the tranquil spa experience we were expecting.
If these small details were adjustedâespecially the music and that repetitive door announcementâthis would easily be a 5-star experience. We still recommend the salon, especially for those who donât mind the background noise, but if youâre looking for a serene, immersive spa experience, you may want to take this into account.
We may return in the future to see if any changes have been made, as everything else about the salon was...
Read moreI waited until I had been to the salon twice before writing this review, just to make sure the nails lasted really well! I chose this salon after moving back from Montreal - this was the only salon I could find that still offered bio gel (which is what I used to get at my previous salon).
Both times I went, I got a bio gel refill with nail art and a shellac pedicure, which were done so thoroughly and well. The first time I came, Jolie did my French tip manicure and did a really excellent job. It looked fantastic. She was very welcoming and kind, really listened to what I wanted and did her best to advise me on the best way to try and match the picture I brought in. I canât remember who did my pedicure that time, but they also did a very excellent job and were so nice. My nails lasted me a whole 5-6 weeks looking perfect until I came for my next appointment.
I came back today for another fill and pedicure, this time Jessica did a really great job matching the rose gold marble picture I showed her. She pulled out eyeshadows and gold flakes to get exactly what I wanted. Again the outcome was fantastic. Linda did my pedicure this time (and I remembered her from last time since she made some small talk with me during my last service) and she was so thorough and remembered small details.
I am really happy with my experience thus far and highly recommend this place. My only small feedback would be that the service tends to take a little on the longer side (they are busy with lots of clients, and sometimes donât have enough staff, so this makes sense). I would say how carefully and thoroughly they do their job makes the little extra time worth it for me. Thank you!

UPDATE:
I just wanted to update that one of my marble nails accidentally broke the next day. I called NailLasting and they were able to accommodate me to fix my nail right away. I wasnât charged, and Jessica even went above and beyond to reinforce the rest of my nails just in case. I canât even tell one broke! Thank you so much for the...
