Went for the Valentine’s Day sharing meal. The menu online was enticing and sounded delicious and worth the $70 price tag. Probably won’t ever go back. First course was oysters.. 1 small oyster each with no topping choice and a side of crunchy shell in the mouth. Not great. Second course was a morsel of tuna tartare, a strangely ice cold but roasted carrot plate lying in.. hot sauce? Must say the house made sour dough with whipped butter was the best part of the meal.. bread. The entree came, 4 bite size pieces of steak with little to no seasoning. Nice texture but not much taste. Lobster tail that had the texture like it has been sitting out under a hot lamp for a while and was tough on the outside. Undercooked broccolini and a decent risotto. The dessert was good but nothing to get too excited about. $70 each and we were still hungry afterwards. You guys can do better. The staff working on the floor were pleasant and friendly. Our server Danielle was personable and fun. Good service in that regard but the kitchen needs to get...
Read moreFor the price point this is a really decent restaurant. I always eat here when I stay at the hotel, so I’ve tried a lot of the items on the menu. Tonight I tried the butter chicken. Even though the presentation gets 5 stars, and it wasn’t bad, it definitely won’t win them any awards. The sauce was very watery, lacking spices and didn’t quite hit the spot on what I would expect of a good butter chicken. I’m hoping the chef that normally makes this dish is off sick and the kitchen staff just threw something together and tomorrow it will be great again. #MakeButterChickenGreatAgain
Overall, I’ll still come back here time and time again, as the vibe of this place is cozy, hip and the staff provides good service. Something they could give some attention to is the first meet of customers. There’s always this 30 second awkwardness standing at the bar, hoping someone would see me to take me to a table... not quite sure where you need to go to get...
Read moreWe stayed at the Marriot Pinnacle which was dated but had a great view and location. We dined in the restaurant and the food was fine BUT we were so happy with the great service we received. We were seated by the host and our waiter came over and suggested we move to the booths by the window. We complied. It turns out that there were 2 women with their children sitting beside us, in our old seats, who I can only describe as savages… they ran around, screaming, knocking over partitions, tables and chairs… Harassing everyone in their radius After having saved us from the carnage of these little monsters, he suggested what we should eat and was bang on, brought us a slice of cake for our anniversary (on the house) and was an all around awesome waiter. Thank you Chris for providing wonderful service :) you are a gem and...
