If I could give ZERO STARS I would. My family and I come here every time we go to Vaughan mills and although the wait tends to be long, my kids like it. But after today, we are never going back here. The customer service was AWFUL - none of the staff care to help, they just want to get your order in and that’s it.
I typically order from the self-order kiosk so I’ve never had issues other than the long wait but today I went to the cashier because I wanted to ask for some help. I was with my little ones and kindly asked the cashier if I could have them split my order into 2 separate cups and sealed so that it doesn’t spill. I’ve ordered them their own drinks before but it was just way too much for them. And for $7+ per drink, I didn’t want to waste getting a second.
At first the cashier was hesitant and said it was too complicated but he would do it anyway. That comment boggled me because how is it “complicated” to POUR half of the serving you make from the blender into one cup with the jelly and then POUR the rest into the second cup??? But anyways, I left it and proceeded to pay because the cashier said that he would do it.
After I had already paid and was waiting with my little ones, one of the staff then decided to tell me that they can’t split it and I’d have to do it myself? I said that the cashier told me he would do it and then she proceeded to tell me that her MANAGER said we can’t do it. Meanwhile the manager was standing back there with her back towards me, she couldn’t tell me herself or speak to me. Or explain what the big deal is. I said fine I’ll split it myself I have no problem with that but asked if they could seal it and she said no, they will only give me the removable cap which I did not want because it has a big hole in it and tends to pop off. I explained I have young children that will be drinking and wanted it sealed so that they don’t spill. But she just shrugged and said “that’s what my manager says”. Had I known they would give me such a hard time, I would’ve just left and gotten a smoothie from booster juice.
I had already paid and at this point my kids are fussy and overstimulated from all the people and loud music and noise and just wanted their drink and to get out of there. So I told them to just give me the drink.
I don’t understand why they: Agreed to do it and then turned around after I had paid and said no we’re not doing it Find it so complicated to literally get 2 cups side by side - one with the jelly in and one without - and POUR the smoothie from the blender into the 2 cups. Then refuse to seal it after making me split it myself????
I really cannot wrap my mind around what the issue was and why they couldn’t just help with my request. And I can’t even give them the benefit of the doubt of it being the weekend. There was like 8 of them behind the counter. They made a simple request that would’ve maybe added an extra 10 seconds onto their time - seem like suuuuch a hard ask. I’ve worked in the fast food industry before and I’ve NEVER given ANY customer that is asking for some help - especially a MOTHER with little ones - that kind of trouble.
Sure enough, the top had popped off and my little one ended up spilling most of his drink all over himself so thanks for that guys.
Don’t expect any help or amazing customer service coming here folks. You’re better off going to Booster Juice or Freshly...

I walked up to the cash and stood there for a few mins while 2 employees were acting as though I was not there. I then said I would like to make an order. One of the employees stopped what he was doing to immediately help me. The other employee what seems to be the manager told him next time he should finish prepping the cup orders already on cue before helping a customer. He caution him like three times say the same thing. I ignored it the first three times and he came again the fourth time saying oh other people have made orders we need to get their orders done tell the customer to wait next time. At that point I felt insulted and upset as I am a paying customer and I attempted to use the self kiosk before coming to them so I did everything right and then he’s going to be talking like that in front of my face. You selected the wrong one. I am not a fool or less of a person so that manger or whatever he is should go and learn some customer service and work ethics. He lacks some from where he comes from. I never knew she didn't understand what I was saying, I told her one mango smoothie with tapioca, I told her 3 times and she just put one mango smoothie with MILK? They didn't even add the tapioca and they were so hesitant to re add it. We paid extra for the tapioca, which wasn't a problem because I know that they charge, but then the lady aggressively slapped the change into my hands? She said sorry but I'm thankful I wasn't the only one complaining because in photos of other bad reviews, she's also the cashier. Funny how she's been working their for so long with these reviews.
