Extremely unprofessional, many times I’ve had issues with this store and was lied to and slandered by management.
Almost every time I call in about a question the employee tells me to call back another time because either “the store is busy” or “I’m on break I’m the only one here” and couldn’t be bothered to help me. In the time it took to tell me that; we could’ve been off the phone with the answer in-hand.
Secondly what pushed me over the edge to write this review is management. My brother and I had placed two pre-orders for Call of Duty: WWII. After being told by management that the pre-order bonuses were not going to be in until late August (we pre ordered 4 months earlier) I wasn’t believing it. Truth be told I waked into the store and saw the pre-order bonus the next week, there, waiting to be picked up for those who ordered. But that isn’t where it ends, the management kept refusing to offer the bonus to me without reason and was very angry that I had kept checking in to see if they received it. Eventually they gave up and I walked out with mine and my brothers promised items. It wasn’t until later that day when a friend of mine texted me saying how the same manager told him that “your friend was in earlier, he took your pre-order bonus. I’m not giving you one you should ask him to give yours back.” Management used me as an excuse not to give out any more pre-order bonuses for whatever reason. Pathetic excuse and slandered my personal image. This is unacceptable slander in a professional business.
I still do business with this store, but only cause I have to. Otherwise if there were another store located closer to where I live I would NEVER do business with EB Vaughan...

This was also my first time ever trading up a console (OG 500GB PS4 with some games) for the PS4 Pro released today. The first visit was a couple of weeks ago where the trade in was seamless and the store credit was applied immediately towards the PS4 Pro. I was also recommended to get the $14.99 EDGE Platinum card which I thought was a useless upsell, but with all the perks that it comes with like additional trade in value credits and big discounts on items, it's definitely worth it and has more than made up its value a few times over during the past 2 weeks. With the EDGE Platinum card, I also traded some PS4 and very old PS3 games towards the PS4 Pro and was pleasantly surprised with the amounts that I got. Today, I came in after work to pick up the PS4 Pro. Although I don't know all of their names, the staff here have been great throughout this process. They don't talk to you like pushy sales people, but rather friendly video game enthusiasts. Jacob was the one who completed most of my transactions including the OG PS4 trade in and delivered my PS4 Pro pick up. He was extremely helpful in maximizing my credits and giving helpful advice. I also have to give some kudos to Sarah who helped me with the trade ins for my old PS3 games, and Damon (Assistant Manager) who went above and beyond to ensure I got the $50 promo credit when I picked up the PS4 Pro. Just be warned however, this location does get very busy on weekends which is why I prefer to come during weeknights...
Read moreMy son is a HUGE DBZ fan, and EB Games now carries both Bandai and SH Figuarts collectable figures, as well as other dbz merchandise. Broly Fullpower was just released, and was in super high demand. We called several stores to no avail. We went in to the EB Games here at Vaughan Mills, and stumbled across the Endgame version of Thanos (also very hard to come by) and grabbed it on the spot. While at the register Liz engaged us in a nice sincere conversation about gaming and collectables. At one point my son mentioned the Broly figure, and she started typing away while talking with us. My son wandered a bit to look at some games, and Liz discreetly told me that there was a possibility she might be able to get one for me, but could make no promises. I appreciated the discretion so as to not get my sons hope's up to high. So we left, once again feeling we had gotten good value for our money, and happy with the customer service we have grown accustomed to. A few days later I received a call, and was pleasantly surprised to number informed that Liz had managed to get a Broly figure for my son. We drove down and picked up, and my sons eyes were like when he was younger at Christmas, all lit up, and excited. So a big shout out to Liz and all the people involved in making this happen!
