This place is a joke. All they do is cut corners and hope you dont notice. The management is to blame here. Here are the details ...First went here when it opened and ordered one of their mushrooom burgers. When I recieved it, it was missing the mushrooms. I sent it back and they made me another one. It tasted fine but nothing special for the price paid. I said I would give them another try a few months down the road. So yesterday I ordered the bacon burger and asked for fries. The woman at the counter informed me that they are out of fries and have been for a few weeks and she doesn't know when they will have more. So no fries at a burger joint? Somethings seriously wrong here. Upon receiving my burger I was shocked and amazed to not see any bacon on the burger. When you loook at the photo of the burger the real thing looks nothing like it. I took it back and asked where the bacon was. She opened the burger and sitting on top of the patty were 5 half inch cubes ....thats it if you look at the photo it is more like 20 the burger is bursting with bacon. Not here. I asked for a refund and the woman had no idea how to do one and had to call her manager to walk her through it. After what felt like a year she said the refund was complete? What how? You didnt even ask for my card ? How did it get refunded. She said to check my account and I did and to my surprise there was no refund. She told me the manager is in later today so I could talk to them. Seriously? Your staff dont even know how to do a refund? Still no refund in my account. This place is a joke. The management is 100% to blame they dont even have their staff trained properly and seem to have lost the ability to source fries. The staff do the best with what they are given so I praise them for that. The woman wasn't new either as she has been there since its opening so no excuses.I had high hopes for this place as I just work down the street. There are many great places in Vernon to get a burger and this is not it . I will be returning today for my refund and I expect more than that. Please...

Fancy Burger was my 206th eatery in Vernon on my essentially completed quest to eat at every eatery in Vernon.

It is the fourth day they were open.

I was surprised by how many veggie burgers were available. The cheese syringes seem like a fun addition to try as a novelty.

I bought the cheesy veggie delight combo for $15.99 and a chocolate milkshake for $6.49. Because of the current tax exemption, I spent $22.50.

Java milkshake wasn't available. They explained why but I wasn't paying attention.

They also have protein bowls which can be delivered.

There were more veggie burger options than anticipated.

I wish there was a really spicy veggie burger option. Or maybe there was one and I didn't notice.

The milkshake was thick enough that you could bounce a quarter off of it. Other places sell milkshakes for $9, so $6.50 is a pretty reasonable price. The milkshake could be a little bit thicker.

My burger tasted better than anticipated.

I left my tray on my table as I only saw one small garbage can near the entrance but a bigger spot to place the tray and recyclables.

This is the first burger place I can recall on Main Street in a really long time.

I hope they do well here as it definitely fills in a missing gap within Vernon's downtown as everywhere else is bakeries, bistros, and higher budget restaurants (for the most part).

Don't confuse it with fast food, though. Just because they do salad bowls, French fries, and burgers doesn't equate to it having the expected fast food taste.

Overall, a welcome addition to what Vernon...

We went and got some burgers, the burgers are real good but I wouldn't say worth the money.. maybe if they were a bit bigger id feel better about the price HOWEVER it is fresh food and it is NOT fast food so I really dont understand why so many people complain about the waiting time.. The fries are awesome but I feel like they should have a seasoned fry option 🤔 I also was unsure if I could refill my drink or not, but having that option would be nice. The lady was really nice, definitely the type of atmosphere I'd love to work in. She had an amazing attitude 👏

Overall, I definitely want to explore the rest of the menu, but I feel like the burger side of it is more five guys like and the price is a bit much 😅 I like the options on the menu and the milkshakes look SO GOOD. Definitely have to go back and try a few flavors. Also they are NEW, people need to give them a chance. In time I'm sure they will improve greatly

On another note my hubby absolutely LOVED his burger/cheese shot. But he agrees with what I say. Definitely better then A&W/five guys/triple Os .. but very small bun/patty. I give them a solid 7/10 for overall rating.. I'll definitely be going back to explore the...

Was initially pretty turned off by the place by the amount of AI imagery used for the menu images. To me the use of AI says a couple things, that they either don't have enough confidence in their food to take an actual photo of it, or that they're too cheap to bother, and if they're too cheap to take a photo of their food, what does that say about the quality of the food itself? Would love to see actual images of the product than AI slop. Ended up trying it since I've been hearing it was good, and thankfully the food I did get ended up being pretty good. Service was about 30 minutes but it was pretty busy. I'll likely go back at some point to give some of the other stuff a try. Just know that like 90% of the images you see on the image don't represent the final product.

We came on a Tuesday afternoon and ordered two combo’s. It took about 15 mins for my burger, and another 15 mins for the other half of my order. I also had to bring my burger back because they forgot to put lettuce on my burger. I finished eating before my guest received their burger. The burger patty tasted not bad, however it is pathetic how much lettuce and tomato toppings they put on the burger. And spending $18 for a combo the amount of fries they serve is embarrassing. During our dine in experience several other customers were also complaining asking for their money back. This place is poorly run and if they don’t step it up, I doubt they will stay in business selling over priced burgers for too long.
