Visiting from Vancouver and we saw this place had 5 stars with a 100+ reviews. Had to try it and I’m glad we did! The service was friendly from the start when we entered and the atmosphere was really calm and felt like an exclusive club or something. The wait staff were super friendly and repeatedly checked on us and made conversation throughout the whole night. Food came out quickly and was good!
My partner rated the Seafood Black Bean Noodle that we got about a 7 or 8/10
Bossam was good but wasn’t our favourite, about a 6/10.
They’re a newer restaurant that just opened but we’re excited to come back!
I do think the wait staff could coordinate better though. The bartender seated us when we walked in and one of the waitstaff came up to us and I’m not sure what she said but I think she asked not to sit ourselves? There were also 2 servers and they came and asked us the same question one after the other.
My partner and I were also sharing and they didn’t provide any serving utensils which would have made it easier to share the noodles.

I visited Sarah Korean Tapas recently and honestly, the first thing that caught my attention was the space. The mix of exposed brick, warm lighting, and unique art made it feel cozy but also a bit elevated. It’s the kind of spot you’d want to come back to for both a chill dinner or a night out with someone you want to impress.
The food was full of flavour — creative without being too out there. You could tell some real thought had gone into both the menu and presentation. A lot of dishes had a kind of boldness to them, which I really appreciated.
Shoutout to MAGNUS behind the bar — he was incredibly grounded and respectful throughout. You don’t always see that level of calm attentiveness, and it stood out. Our server was also super kind and checked in with us just the right amount.
The food, the vibe, and the way most of the team carries themselves make it a solid pick in...
Read moreI’m happy to see Cera back but we were the only people eating and the atmosphere felt very bland and cold. The bulgogi cream Alfredo was interesting but not great. The kimchi was good and spicy cucumber salad. They had no tea or mugs or cream for coffee and served me coffee in a tiny bowl. I will go back again in a few months when they have been open longer. The chicken was great though and I’m excited to see where they go this time around :) The atmosphere though truly did feel like it was missing warmth and cozy vibes. It had a quick serve take out vibe instead of a sit down and catch up with friends. The space is nice and suitable for meetings or just drinks but dinner seemed like it didn’t suit the space well right now. Esp with how lacking they were on supplies and...
