Chocolats Favoris — Restaurant in Victoria

I am writing my awesome two experiences in that I want to share people haven’t know well yet this store.

I definitely recommend here during Valentines and Christmas season ☺️💓

As you might have already known, the joyful adventure with ice cream dipped chocolate in Chocolat Favoris is basically awesome and excited.

But!!!!! This month , I am sure that it is time to go and grab some of their products!! You totally might have wonderful time there. Because their ice cream is not only photogenic and cute, but also extremely has power to connect with people, organized toppings properly and stunning entirely!! Immediately it made me happier in that it is not only me, but also it made another customer made happy unexpectedly because one of unknown customers talked to me about the ice cream I grabbed 💖Above all, the staff have captivating smiles and hospitable service. Feels like they always try to make the best service for guests!! I was there on my birthday season, I ate a vanilla icecream, which is Small size with Strawberries and Cream chocolate dipping and toppings as my birthday gift in the day before my birthday and in my birthday! (Usually, I don’t eat ice cream during almost every season!! But I went to Chocolat Favoris in this time) I was so happy to receive their awesome vibes in my birthday. I will never forget it!! Thank you everyone. Overall, their vibes spread my happiness to the others ,which was around the lovely icecream💖

Furthermore, one more thing. I bought a small box of fortune cookies!! Off the top of the head, it is not normal fortune cookies. Also it is clear the cookies looked extremely cute !! However, it’s not only cute!! lol I shared it with my colleagues who felt exhausted. They became be delighted and enjoyed the tiny little funny message inside the cookie. It became quite memorable for all of us, not only me in my birthday season.

Much appreciated to Chocolat Favoris team at Victoria location 💖✨☺️Personally I am a big fan of this store in Victoria location!! Through my this actual experience, I highly recommend to see your lovely adventure, even if you are not a icecream lover.

—————- From here, my first review in 2024. I highly recommend this wonderful store,if you like something brand new experience and enjoyable,not just having an icecream!! Looks like a little lovely chocolate and icecream factory inside!! Probably you may be shy, just go in!! And then, I want you to stand and see their performance to dip in front of a bunch of chocolate containers!! That’s awesome and perfect!! It’s not only a dipped ice-cream, but also Non-fried poutine with chocolate, Hot chocolate , Icecream cake, cold seasonal cute drinks!!! Additionally, all employees look like they enjoy and work hard to make magical atmosphere!! Totally I am a huge fan of this place!! I have a confidence you...

I can't speak for the entire company or different locations - but this one knocked my socks off!!! Top notch service, friendly atmosphere, and huge ice cream portions. Just order mini cone!!!! Mine was dipped in milk chocolate - OMG! I couldn't decide what tasted better, ice cream or the chocolate!!!!

Next day visit - We were so happy with the first visit, I decided to leave the original review and 5 stars as is (unadultered), and just add more about the second visit. As the first visit, the second one was as tasty as the original visit (especially the chocolate dip itself. Mine was again simple milk chocolate dip). Service was a little tense this time, though. Perhaps all it was just miscommunication or misunderstanding...... When we ordered the ice cream, my 8 y.o. asked for marshmallow-chocolate dip with three more additional topings (marshmallows, oreos, and sprinkles). Gentleman at the counter said, "We normally don't do this when we're busy, but since we're not busy right now, I will"). He personally took care of our order. It seemed as kind of a 'favor' with the x-ra topings and not as a routine option we would have chosen. I am still kind of confused about this. Is there an option to purchase exta toppings or there's not? And if there is, does the time of the day dictate that or customer's choice at time or order? Whole thing seems a little weird. I would be more than happy to pay for x-ra topping to make my kid's experience complete, shall we come back in the future, and not feel we're asking for something unusual. Maybe this option is not available as of yet, and the company needs to start offering it? Hint: This was around 8 p.m. So, if you're looking to get extra topings, when the ice-cream shop not busy, try after ONLY around 8 p.m. This seems like the most optimal time to go for ice cream in order to score extra toping since you can't buy extra topings as of the day this...

My experience was this: I went in with my brother, we were the only customers in the store, the person working there greeted me and asked if I wanted to sample any of the chocolates, I picked 3 that I was into, they gave me the samples and instead of asking me which one I wanted they left me to go to a couple that had since walked in and proceeded to sample every flavour of ice cream and chocolate for them.. so I stood and waited for 5-7 minutes while another employee just stood behind the till not helping anyone just watching.

IN THIS TIME another couple (this time with kids came in) and they apparently stood in the right part of the line (mind you when I came in I was the only customer and there was no line) so when the person who initially greeted me finished with the couple THEY HELPED THE FAMILY completely ignoring me, the other employee still standing there useless. So I wait.. finally after the family’s order is take the useless employee chimes in “the line starts over there” OKAY. So I say my order 1 vanilla soft serve dipped in chocolate and one cookies and cream gelato, the employee asks “cookies and cream soft serve” no, I clarify gelato and I point at it in the case.

So I’m at the end of the counter waiting for my order when the useless employee finally mustered up some work ethic walks over with two soft serve cones announces “chocolate dip & cookies and cream soft serve” 😭😭😭 I say NO I ordered cookies and cream gelato, they ROLL THEYRE EYES AT ME and go and scoop the cookies and cream gelato. Finally I get to leave with my cone and I give my brother his gelato and it was not even that great. Honestly. At the end of the day do what you want to do for ice cream, this was just my experience but based on it I probably wouldn’t return.

Also I’m a very passive customer, I will withstand any amount of abuse as a fellow customer service worker but this was just unnecessary, so here I am...
