Osmow's Shawarma — Restaurant in Wasaga Beach

My first experience with Osmow's was in Brampton and it was always very good. I was super excited about us getting a store so I tried our Wasaga store opening day and a few times after that. The store was nice and clean, staff was great and service was fast. The only complaint was the shawarma wrap was a little bit small(probably about as big around as an egg roll) compared to Brampton or Barrie which is probably double that size! I brushed it off assuming that as the business got going the portion size would become more comparable to other franchises I have visited. Well today I decided to go try it again and was pleasantly surprised to see the wrap was much fuller than my previous visits-although still a little bit lean on chicken but acceptable. I was craving it badly and it didn't disappoint!! The store is so clean it still looks brand new and service was perfect. I hope today wasn't a "one-off" and next visit I the wrap will be comparable to what Im used to. I would recommend to anyone looking for some great tasting food to...

Ordered from this location for dinner with a group of friends and my girlfriend, and highly would not recommend. As she has LIFE THREATENING allergies to tahini (sesame seed paste) I made this very clear on the phone when I ordered for pickup. The order total was over $50 and we brought the food to beach, her chicken shawarma half and half was clearly labelled “no tahini” and after not even one bite (she always has a small sample before eating takeout) she was already having hives and itching her throat and had to take benadryl. My friends and I had a bite of the shawarma and could clearly taste the tahini in it. We were all very hungry and parked our cars after a long day at the beach, so I couldn’t even go back to exchange/complain/get a refund. This is very frustrating to me and unacceptable, we have had Osmow’s many times before from other locations with no issue. This location cannot fulfil a simple order. I also work in food industry and know the importance of customer service and serving time . The lady wasn’t even wearing gloves while serving and preparing food , using her hands to put veggies and chicken with bare hands . They literally took 30 minutes to serve 3 chicken on the rocks and a falafel wrap (which they burnt badly) Both ladies were working like new hires as they were chilling, enjoying on the songs but me and my friends kept waiting for our food. They were also not aware of menu properly as when i asked them to add veggies as shown in menu for extra price , they were shocked as they have heard this thing for the first time and as we were hungry, we had to compromise with whatever they offered. Even after paying $5 extra for garlic sauce and croutons , nothing was extra, even chicken was chewy as they took it out of the basket not used fresh from the grill.
