Starbucks — Restaurant in Westmount

I really don’t take the time to rate restaurants or cafe but this evening’s Dec 30 treatment of customers is just WRONG and should be noted! Online the cafe closes at 10pm, there is no sign on the door or in the cafe that says differently. I arrived at 6:30 pm. At 7pm an employee (she) announces that the cafe is closing at 7:30pm. She says sorry everyone but we have to close at 7:30pm. There is a significant sigh from the customers but okay. This is the kicker: at 7:10pm a different employee (he) comes out to tell customers to leave now. With a bad attitude he says the cafe is closing now and everyone needs to leave. A customer tries to explain that they were told 7:30pm but Rudely the employee tells the customer «  no it’s 7pm » then raises his voice and tells everyone they need to leave NOW. The cafe is full. Many arrived after I did. There was family with young kids who just sat the kids down and was feeding them the drinks, they just ordered. Many customers...

I've been to this location quite a bit over the last 6 weeks(new job) and i have to say its probably the worst starbuck i ever been too. Poor service, poor management and bad organization. Im not saying every employee is bad but i've had more issues than not. If you order anything other than a drink you have to chase them to get it, even when theyre not busy. The app says you cant order ahead but i seem them getting remote orders all the time, so which is it. I recently order a caramel macchiato cali style extra caramel with a cheese danish, only 1 person ahead of me at the time of order and 2 behind me. Not only did my drink have basically zero caramel i waited 10 minutes then had to tell them about my danish and on top of that my caramel macchiato felt like it was half full. Again bad location your better of going to the tims in the esso station...

Looks nice place, weird service, I had cafe late, McDonald's regular coffee was much better than their late. When I walk in there was an Asian girl when she realized some one is walking in, with reaction like she walked to the cash to take my order then changed her mind & back off and said he will serve you, to a young man who is already serving another client. I waited for the young man to take my order, he took my order she made my late it tastes awful but could dump it because I need to wait in the area for 45 minutes, outside is a bit chilli and paid $6. It will be My first & last day. In the same spot it used to be second cup...ahhhh they used to have amazing Late missed...
