Came before 10am to grab breakfast for my team in the mall. Ordered pancakes. Continued to wait while our food sat there and she kept serving more people. After 15 minutes the cook came out and handed us our food. I had 3 orders of pancakes and I asked for the syrup. She then informed me there was no syrup, I asked why I was not informed when I purchased and she just stared. After arguing she then offered a refund. While trying to process a refund it kept giving an error as it was labeled as a credit refund and it was debit . After trying 3 cards and it kept giving errors I finally tried a credit card and it worked. This wasted my whole lunch break and nothing to return. I would like to share a very negative experience in A&W outlet mall. The supervisor Lakita was very rude and not understanding. They have the promotion for coffee for one dollar until March 3rd 2024. I lost my coupon that was returned to me when I got the coffee at polo park and she refused to give me the discount. She said that she needs a coupon. I know it is not true as the coupon was returned to me when I got coffee at polo park location. I asked to speak to the manager and she would refuse to give me to talk to him. I generally enjoy just about all my meals here. And the service is good over all. Today I was extremely hungry and wanted to try the new fish and chips. Gotta say I was pretty excited to find a seat and chow down. The moment I took the first bite. I had to spit it out. Visualize expecting fresh juicy battered cod. But ended with hard and dried out fish. Simular to the texture of moist beef jerky. This fish must have been sitting under the heat lamp for hours.
