Ordered delivery. Some things the menu lied about.

I ordered clubhouse with poutine and Texas fried rice.

The best clubhouse sandwiches have sliced pickle on them...or at least a spear on the side. Not a pickle in sight. Sandwich had a strange tinny-fishy taste. I think the margarine/butter was off. I'm glad I ordered a side of mayo, the sandwich was icky and needed it.

The poutine was NOT poutine. Not a single curd. It was shredded mozzarella. I hate when restaurants do that. Yet the worst, most in insulting part was that the menu promised curds. I would have gone with the onion rings or a salad if I knew. I ordered a side of gravy and I was right. The so called poutine was dry. A mistake made by many, so I was prepared for that, just not it being cheesy fries and gravy, NOT poutine.

OK, Texas fried rice. Nothing like the menu description. There were no bell peppers, no beef, no smoky bbq flavour. It was quite plain with carrots in it. A dark colour but bland. It was cooked perfectly quite fluffy not mushy. Oddly enough I enjoyed it most of all even though it was a lie.

Lol, nothing was as advertised except the canned Pepsi. For a Saturday night treat very disappointing. I should have tried one of their so called specialties. If I ever order from them again that's...

I give 1 star solely because the service was that bad!!! Big Guys is one of our favorite places. The food is always awesome and we love the atmosphere there. However, last night we went for dinner for our anniversary. When we arrived there were no other tables to be served, we were literally the only ones there the entire time. Our server was no where to be seen. We waited fairly long for just our drinks, again nobody else in the restaurant. When she finally did bring our drinks she dropped a coffee spoon on us, said she'd be right back with a clean one, however she must of gotten distracted because by the time she brought a clean spoon, the coffee was cold, was not offered a fresh hot coffee. We were only offered refills once we were done eating. Again, only ones in the place the whole time. The food itself was great, it always is. No complaints there.

It was just absolutely the worst service we have ever had and nothing to justify it, other than just not caring about her customers. Having been a server myself, I can appreciate the craziness of a busy section to work, however if you only have 1 table to serve, that table should never be...

Very disappointed my husband got violently sick and went to the hospital. Hospital confirmed food poisoning. Called owner and did not care and hinted it could have been something else what he ate earlier etc. I have been going there for many years and was a regular customer. If only the owner cared....

This is in response to the owner answering me August 2nd. Thank you for your response.We have been regular customers for over 30 years. We do not wish to destroy someones business and we always recommended your business to our friends and family. I'm hoping you take precautions in the well being of your customers. You did not have a in-depth conversation with my husband. You had a 5 min conversation. You did ask if he ate anything that day and he did not. You did a through investigation, why did he get sick then? You sent a link on food poisoning. I researched it also and you can get food poisoning up to 2 hrs after eating and he had all the symptoms. Also the hospital confirmed it. I realize food poisoning can happen at some restaurants, but please be honest and don't blame it on the customers. A person goes through much pain...
