Visit was okay, was looking forward to it because their regular menu have so many Vegan/GF options, turns out on Sundays apparently they only do brunch (7 choices), the menu for which does not come up when you click on the link in Instagram (just the regular menu), so that was a surprise.

Crème brûlée French toast was supposed to be topped with berries but came topped with Dulce de Leche, which made it a dessert.

Poor servers were running around like crazy between the tables and the walk ins for coffees which led to a couple mistakes, probably should have had more than 2 servers staffed on...

I've been to the human rights museum many times but never ate at the Bistro Boreal restaurant until today. I think this might be one of the best restaurants in Winnipeg! The service was top knotched and they eagerly accommodated for my dietary needs. My Bibimbap was made with pride and care (you can see the chefs make your food), great proportions, and very reasonable cost. And for sure one if the best patios hidden away in a...

The Korean chicken salad was a generous serving of chicken with a balanced combination of sweet, tang, and spice, all veggies were fresh and watermelon radish elevated it to another level. Poutine was on point, but the real highlight was the vegan power bowl. Stunning, as was the atmosphere and service. The fact this is in the museum and can add to an already great experience makes it that much better. Get a table by a window and spend some time enjoying the view.
