Reserved a "heated" dome for dinner. - Upon arrival, the aloof monotone hostesses escorted us to the dome, but the door to outside was blocked - we had to squeeze by speakers and decorations from the party that was going on. As we stepped inside, the table was dirty with glasses, cutlery, gum on dirty napkins, and as you can see from the photo, the table wasn't cleaned. The hostess took 3-4 trips cleaning up as we all awkwardly stood around the table. She struggled to the point of breaking a glass right outside the entrance of the dome and no one cleaned it up. The dome had only 2 small heat lamps secured at the top. Since heat rises, it didn't really heat the interior, especially the lower part - our legs and feet were completely numb by the end of our meal. It took about 45 mins for our drink order to be taken and about another 30 mins for our drinks to come. After we ordered our food, the waitress asked us all 2-3 times what we ordered directly after we said it, as she slowly punched it into the machine. She appeared to be intoxicated. When the food finally arrived, most of it was mediocre to bad. The chicken tasted really bad, it seemed fake, similar to the quality and texture of pre-cooked packaged chicken you'd find in the deli section of a grocery store. There was no seasoning on it. I bit into a small brown thing that almost cracked my tooth (pictured). The zipper to the dome only had a pull attached to the exterior, so it was near impossible to open and close from the inside, making it difficult to use the washroom. I am assuming this is also a fire/emergency hazard because if something happened, we wouldn't be able to leave the dome quickly. When I did get into the washroom, it was completely taken over by the party that was going on, the sinks were not accessible. There were clothing racks everywhere and people just standing, blocking the area with suitcases. When the waitress gave us our bills, she had them incorrect after 3 revisions, on the 3rd time we just said "don't worry about it" and e-transfered the appropriate person who paid for our drink. Probably one of the worst dining experiences I've had in the city. Won't be coming back. Really cool idea with the "heated" domes, but unfortunately, it wasn't executed properly.

Leaving 3 stars because the service was great. And the mimosa was the best I have ever had in my life. My aunt spent $300 (about $50 each person) for 6 of us to go to a 3 hour 4 course event for a comedy show. It was busy and most of the guests were frustrated (I’ll get to that in a sec) but the servers handled it well, and were as attentive as they could be. The atmosphere was very cool, but I am wondering if they spent all their money mainly on decorating, because the food was…well…disappointing. To be fair, I’m not a local, so I don’t know if the food is better usually and if the event was just more then they could handle. But it was wayyyy too expensive because the portions were very small, and underwhelming. Don’t even get me started on the “steak” and eggs. That was NOT steak. I don’t wanna ramble about it. But I wasn’t pleased, and I’m usually very understanding since I’ve worked in the food industry for awhile. But we had to wait sooo long for puny portions and mediocre overpriced food. The comedy show was not impressive either, it was 10 mins and only a guy talking about immigration really, but he seemed like a nice guy, maybe he was nervous. I’m sure the restaurant is probably good usually, but the event was disappointing, especially for spending $400 (including drinks). A waste of the day, we were all starving and bored out of our minds. If I didn’t live out of the province, I’d give it a second chance on a regular day and try ordering off of the menu. So I’m not saying don’t go, but don’t spend a crazy amount of money on an event here. Best of luck to this business tho, and thank you to my server (I wish I grabbed her name).

Don’t bother. Go somewhere else. We reserved a dome for our anniversary, only to arrive and be told the lights don’t work… meanwhile there was an empty dome next to us with working lights - that remained empty for our entire visit. No one offered to move us. We got into our dome, that had a burnt couch and “flickering” candles that didn’t really work. So, it just felt like we were sitting inside a shower curtain for our meal with the lack of ambiance. We arrived at 4:50 pm and asked at 4:55 if we could get some apps from the happy hour menu, and the waitress initially said “no” and then reluctantly agreed. My husband’s bubble stash beer was flat and my sangria had frozen cranberries in it. The food was disappointing. The bread and butter had raw garlic in the strange paste they called butter. The Brussels sprouts were ok, but we wouldn’t have paid full price for them (we got them on happy hour). The Mac and cheese smelled very fishy and the lobster didn’t taste fresh, and the sauce was thick and salty without really being cheesy. The seafood cioppino was a joke. One scallop, four mussels, four clams, and a couple of tiny chunks of mystery fish with a greasy piece of bread that was half burnt. But, none of that compares to the “ny strip” my husband got. It looked like something you’d get from a cafeteria or frozen dinner. Super thin, pasty mashed potatoes (we suspect instant) and some mushy squash and carrots. We paid extra to $6 to add a skewer of shrimp. It was five small shrimp that were cold and unseasoned. We left a bunch of food and didn’t bother getting anything to go, it was that sad. We won’t be going back.

Where do I begin with how terrible this experience was. My friends and I went for wings night on Thursday and after our meal we were presented with a bill charging us full price when it’s supposed to be half off. The waitress was new and made a mistake so we pointed it out and she came back and still managed to charge us full price for one and half for the other. This time we didn’t catch it because it was all on one bill as my friend decided to foot the bill for all of us. When we got home, we checked the bill and realized we were wrongfully charged full price for one of the wings.

The next day we called, explaining the issue. We were told to email the receipt or come in store wirh the receipt and we would be helped. The friend who paid the bill was visiting from the states and so he said he would pass by on his way to the border. He had the receipt when he arrived at boujee and we had called twice, leaving his name and number and explaining the issue before he went in person. When he arrived they said they hadn’t heard about his issue despite taking down his information on the phone and pretended to be completely oblivious. He had the receipt though and showed it to them. They proceeded to say they cannot perform refunds on cards and offered him 5 dollar credit instead. Mind you we were charged about 11 dollars extra for the full price wings instead of half of 22 dollars. He mentioned this to them and it wasn’t about the money. It was the principle of a business upholding respectable practice’s when making a mistake.

He again told them his not from here, he just footed the bill. They again said they could not perform a refund for no reason other than the fact that they knew he was leaving soon and could get away with it. He was there for almost an hour and a half and received no refund, no compensation, no credit. NOTHING. That was our first time trying it out and it will be the last. If you want to enjoy wings night somewhere respectable where they wouldn’t try scam you I suggest trying Tavern and smithy’s as I have never had issues with them before and know they would refund you if a mistake was made unlike these scammers. Also when we asked about the price to dine inside the igloos they mentioned 3 different prices. I really do not trust this establishment and caution everyone before visiting. If you decide to visit check your bill several times because they definitely try to see if they can get away overcharging people since they did it to us twice in one sitting! Also side note, the food...

Read this post till the end. It truly gets worse and worse as you read....

Went to this restaurant with a group of 16 people for a birthday. We were given one server who was quite lovely and trying her best. However, you could tell she was quite young and probably newer to the industry. She was attentive to our table at first, but as a couple of other tables came in, she became frantically busy trying to serve us as well as others. I should note the restaurant was nearly empty minus a few tables (first indicator a place is awful I know..)

HERES THE KICKER EVERYONE.... Once we finished our meals and drinks and we're ready to pay, it took 55 minutes for us to get our bills. By this point, we were becoming pissed off, as we watched another server and a man who clearly looked like the manager or owner standing around talking and on their phones, while this young server ran back and forth across the restaurant trying to handle everything. I went to speak to the man to simply complain that he should be helping the girl instead of doing nothing. He advised me that he was going to get someone we could speak to... I said to him, "Are you not the owner of this establishment? Because it took me all of a few minutes to read the room and determine you were either a manager or owner. " He took a moment and then admitted he was indeed the owner. My response to this, was "well then, who on earth could you be going to get to speak to us regarding your restaurant?"

He was dismissive, rude, and had absolutely no accountability for his restaurants service. I would also like to mention that when I asked for a reduction on my bill, he proceeded to take off the gratuity on the bill instead of decreasing the merchandise cost. He was essentially taking money out of his servers' pocket so he could save a dollar.

The food wasn't awful, but it certainly wasn't anything to tell your friends and family about, and it was VERY overpriced. I ordered the seafood cioppini, and it came with literally 1 single scallop. Of the 16 of us who ate and drank various different things, we all thought it was mediocre at best. I will never return here and will actually encourage anyone else who mentions wanting to eat here not to go. I never ever complain about restaurants, but this was THAT BAD that I had to.

Please, pretend I'm your friend who's telling you that this place sucks, and just DO NOT go here! I give it 6 months until it goes out...
