Burger Plus — Restaurant in Winnipeg

They were closed on a Wednesday at 1:00 PM. Drove there to find out it was closed.

Before leaving I decided to call them. You'd expect "Hello, this is Burger Plus"

Nope. The dude just said "Hey".

I had to ask them if it was Burger Plus, they said yes. I asked them when they would be open, and he asked why.

𝘎𝘦𝘦, 𝘐 𝘸𝘰𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘩𝘺? 𝘐𝘵'𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘳𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘣𝘶𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘰𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨.

They DID tell me when it was next going to be open, but jeez, that's some unprofessional phone service at the beginning there.

This also means I didn't try their food, so if I go another time, I could...

I ordered the Fat Boy Burger and it actually had some spice to it. Not too much. Just the right amount. The bun was a little tough at the edges. A few more vegetables would balance the flavor. With that said for the price I paid, the burger was better than I expected.

More than reasonable cost, filling, and decent taste....

Went here for the first time today. Owner was very friendly, helpful and did really well with a complicated order/bill split from memory. Loved the big double cheeseburger and home-cut fries! Few would be left wanting after that combination. My kind of place! Will...
