Sonix Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Winnipeg

My room mate and me went to Sonix for the first time to practice darts for our league on a Saturday evening… Now, Winnipeger’s .. shame on you if you haven’t gone and enjoyed this awesome spot with amazing service from the owner and staff here in the heart of Winnipeg… This establishment literally has everything needed! The music playing got us grooving playing darts, the food we ordered was great with reasonable prices. There is an electronic dart board and numerous pool tables for a crowd, it’s clean, there is ample parking,, the staff and owner are GREAT!!… customer service is up there, and they mingle with you with a great attitude… Literally, this establishment has everything needed! ….., this establishment just needs Winnipeger’s to fill the space and enjoy themselves as much as we did, Go enjoy yourselves at Sonix….. we did!!! Hope to see...

The onwer will make call to towing your car in less than 5 minutes. If you park and not going to the bar right away, owner want your car deleted right away. I park my car and want to have a beer here with my friend after dinner. Then I went eat across the street, after 1 hour, I find my car is gone when I got back for a drink. I check the recorder in my car, it been towing after 40 minutes of parking, it took 35 mins for the tow car come, which means owner phone the company in less than 5 mins, or right after I left. So much for...

Sonix is mostly good but has one problem -- the owner is friendly, but he clears away "empties" all the time. Many people had drinks that were literally half full and he'd clear them away when we mostly weren't paying attention. I caught him doing it 4 or 5 times with beer, mixed drinks, soft drinks, and water. Very scummy behaviour to try to get people to buy more drinks. Other than that, it was nice. It has a lot of pool tables, places to sit and chill, and a dance floor with a disco ball. The woman behind the bar is friendly...
