I ordered online to pickup 2 subs from the subway down the street from my office. I ordered a 6” BMT with lettuce tomato olives pickles banana peppers onions mayo and house sauce and a foot long ham with lettuce spinach and mayo. When I returned back to my office with the subs and opened them up I had realized they were made wrong. I received a foot long ham with lettuce tomato olives pickles banana peppers onions mayo and house sauce and a 6” ham with spinach lettuce and mayo. I figured mistakes happen and that’s okay, me and my co worker were going to eat the subs anyways. My coworker takes a bite out of their sub and there was a fly in it! We immediately called the store and asked for a refund as a) the subs were wrong and b) there was a fly in it!. The manager who I spoke to on the phone said if they check the cameras and can verify they made the sandwiches wrong they will make me a new one. I explained that I didn’t want another sandwich as we were both pretty repulsed by the fly and lost our appetite. He reiterated that he was going to check the cameras and call back. He calls me back and says that my co worker is a liar and that they made the sandwiches right. I told the manager at this point I wasn’t concerned about the sandwiches being right or wrong and that you should be concerned about there being a fly in the sandwich. I continued to ask for a full refunded, to which he said he can give me more sandwiches but no refund because we were lying. I told him I am going to bring back the fly, and the 2 sandwiches to the store and expect a refund. When I came back (now wasted my whole lunch break) he gave me a refund. It shouldn’t have to take me coming to the restaurant for that refund to be initiated, and the fact that the manager was fighting me on the circumstances is poor customer services. I appreciate that I was refunded but I don’t think I will come back to a subway again due to how the situation was handled. I will let others know how my experience was at...
Read moreCan't put fewer than one star. What a shame. -2 out of 58 for the clowns that work in this Subway. The clowns that "work" at the Subway shouldn't be at a circus, let alone fully fledged sandwich artists. They had to make a phone call and scrounge around in the back to find a kids meal bag, while there were other people in line boring holes in the back of my head for waiting. They forgot the meat on my steak and cheese sandwich; let that sink in, they didn't put the meat on my sandwich! The interpretation of the main sandwich clown of a "few banana peppers" is just a little shy of a bushel, so you could imagine the joy I experienced biting into a meatless banana pepper sandwich while at a picnic with my family. If you are in Winnipeg and absolutely need a Subway sandwich, do yourself a solid and drive to any other location than this one. Get on a plane and eat street meat from a cart in Mexico city, it will probably be a...
Read moreNeeded some lunch so stopped in here for a mobile order pickup. I decided to try the new Stampede Brisket BBQ sub. It’s 6” I should have stuck to my regular order. Omg this was the worst sub I’ve ever had at a subway. Just dripping with bbq sauce (which is to much and to strong). The brisket was so tough that after two bites I decided to forgo my lunch and throw it out. For the $10.29 I paid it was a complete let down. I’d at least expect the meat to be tender and chewable. The price for this sub was way to much for the sub you get. My usual steak and cheese is always a good choice. I’m just going to pass on subway from now on and from what I’ve heard, Firehouse subs is the place now. Hey subway, change my mind. I’m keeping my receipt if you’d like to refund me my good earned money on...
