Subway — Restaurant in Woodstock

First of all, I feel a tad bit conflicted in writing this review because Subway is a chain restaurant, there is no issue AT ALL with the quality or taste of the food, it is always good, fast, and satisfying. However, the customer service at this particular Subway is some of the worst I have ever experienced. I recently began eating Subway salads due to a diet change and now I purchase a salad from Subway on average 3-4 times a week. This Subway on Vansittart Ave is down the street from my house which means I frequent it often. Having said that, I would be willing to drive across town to the Subway on Dundas in order to avoid the staff working here. Each time I have gone in, without fail, there is no smiling, no "hi how are you today", no warmth, nothing. Each time I ask for a salad instead of a sub, it seems as though this is some kind of chore for the staff, not the job they have been hired to do. Reading the other reviews for this Subway, I can see that I am not alone in this matter. I sincerely hope that the management of this establishment look into these issues. As I said, Subway is a chain restaurant and will remain busy, but if this were an independently owned restaurant, I would expect business would be a lot slower given the circumstances. Majority of the time you walk in & walk back out again without being able to order because the quality of produce is so completely off putting. If the produce does happen to pass the vibe check & I proceed to place my order for a 6" veggie sub then despite requesting extra lettuce, extra spinach & extra tomato I have to repeat myself multiple times because she gets irritated with me as she proceeds to add ONE more slice of tomatoe🤦‍♀️ To me extra is not one additional slice more it should be around double what you originally would put (or approximately 3 more slices) She then charges me for the extra veggies on a 6" veggie delight🤔 (according to head office they should not be doing this every time) I made it a meal combo with chocolate milk & 2 macadamia nut cookies (she gave me chocolate chip😏) somehow this adds up to $12 & change each time which I never understand because I was under the impression that a 6" VEGGIE sub was like $6🤷‍♀️ This location has been off putting...

The incident happened on 29th june around 3pm. Ordered egg and cheese 6 inch the guy working at a store navjot served it with the paper stick to it on the back as they grilled with paper and burn all the seeds on the top. Reached to the counter showing that how I could eat paper along with sub can u please replace it politely. But, the guy ended up saying i am not swapping your sandwich u can do whatever you want. The way he talk to customers was not acceptable i reach out the website to complaint about him and this is not for a first time last time i came here to have sandwich the maker ruined my sub by not closing it fully it was more looking like a bowl I simply ate that with spoon not even complaint but this time the way he talked to me while i showed him a sandwich with paper stick to it was not acceptable and it boiled me up.
