Sal Beach Club is the place to be if you're on this island!||I have been to Cape Verde three time's and I stayed at Sal Beach Club each time, without a second thought!||The ensuite rooms are located in directly above the beach club and are very well maintained and clean. My favourite part is the view of the beach and Santa Maria pier from the balcony.||I love this place, not only because I'm a sport/football lover, with big TV screens visible from every seat, but because the atmosphere is always great and all the staff are extremely friendly/accommodating. The food menu has great verity, and I've gotten to try out a good portion of what they have to offer throughout the time I have been |coming here. I can honestly say that I have never ordered something which I didn't enjoy. The pricing is also very responsible for the quality/quantity you get. ||This place is also in a prime location with the back entrance leading directly onto the beach, making it very handy to come into the bar/restaurant for a cocktail or lunch if you're having a day on the beach. As you come out the front entrance, you are only a minute walk away from the main strip on the island!||Even if you're not staying in the Sal Beach accommodation, this place is definitely worth visiting and making it your 'Go-To' bar/restaurant as it's the only one of it's kind on the island.||Thank you to Ken and the team for making my holiday experience 10/10 every time, I look forward to returning again...

In conclusion: 1hr 4ppl 120€ - saw little to no fish - everyone felt nauseous One other snorkeling company said that today, all the snorkeling activities are cancelled because of the weather, came here to ask about it. They told us that the weather was okay and that it’s not too windy and arranged it for us for 120€. and OH BOY, it was windy as hell. All of us felt nauseous, some of us were in the brink of vomiting in the boat. Traveled to the first site, which had 1,5-2m waves (way too sloshy to even swim in with gear) and they told us it’s ok to be in even with the children with us, whom had never snorkeled before. Told them this wasn’t ok, the boat couldn’t stand in place in the waves and it really wasn’t safe, took us to another place. That place was ok to swim in, though it was very close to the beach. Saw a small school of fish right then, one larger fish. And that were the only fish we saw for the next hour. We had to swim back to the pier on our own, only saw sand for the hour. Not their fault that we didn’t see any fish, but they should have just told us from the start no. Staff tried their...
Went here for a quick bite to eat, my partner is coeliac and we understand the struggles of trying to explain this in Cape Verde. But it was understood. Because of cross contamination he asked for sweet potato mash, which was one of the side options on the menu. We explained the reason as to why he couldn’t eat fried stuff and again this was understood. When the food arrived they have dumped 2 hash browns on the plate with no explanation as to why and we were missing the other side included in the meal, sauted vegetables. When we raised the issues we were told, oh we don’t have sweet potato mash, well why the hell is it on the menu and did no one say he couldn’t have it. Everyone kept coming an asking if our food was okay and when explaining the problem you could see there was disappointment but nothing further from there. He ate 2 small chicken drumsticks described as ‘chicken legs’ and this was about it. But I do also believe the chicken drumsticks may have been deep fried as he has had a terrible reaction this morning. The lady at the till gave us 10% off when paying, about £3/4 but tbh the meal wasn’t worth a penny we paid for it. Very...
