Piegari Chile — Restaurant in Vitacura

During our recent two-week stay in Santiago, Chile, my fiancée and I wanted an Italian fine dining experience close to our hotel in Las Condes, so I made a reservation at Piegari.

When we arrived, a security guard greeted us and led us to the restaurant entrance. Inside, we were shown to our table and appreciated the elegant yet understated décor.

Our waiter took our drink orders promptly and shortly afterward brought fresh table bread. The initial service felt attentive and set a relaxed tone for the evening. Each dish was well presented and flavorful, highlighting classic Italian ingredients. We enjoyed the authentic taste and thoughtful preparation of every course.

As the restaurant grew busier, our waiter’s attention shifted to other tables, and we experienced a noticeable delay when asking for the bill. Despite the pause, the gentle background music and calm atmosphere made the wait comfortable.

Overall, Piegari provided a pleasant Italian dining experience in Santiago, and we will gladly return on our next visit...

A few days ago we went to Piegari, which is a lovely Italian restaurant with a nice interior.

For dinner we had the lasagna and the ravioli scroffa and for dessert the crème brûlée. I have never tasted a crème brûlée like this, it had red fruits on top and tasted delicious. The main courses as well. Unfortunately forgot to take pictures of it…

The biggest plus of this restaurant was the service of the staff. We don’t know how to speak Spanish, so a waiter used his phone to create a hotspot for us, so that we could use the internet for the menu and for translation.

In the end we needed a cab and at this area it is not likely to get a cab from down the street, so he used his own app to arrange a cab for us. He took so much time to help us, we really appreciate his...

Piegari Chile is a fantastic Italian restaurant in Santiago. Our waiter, Alexander, made the experience unforgettable with his warmth and attentiveness, even though we didn’t speak Spanish and he didn’t speak English. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. On his recommendation, I had the fettuccine with mushrooms, which was incredible. We also tried the malfatti and carbonara—both delicious and perfectly prepared. Excellent food and outstanding service make this a must-visit spot for Italian cuisine...
