Despite of it's high prices and fancy decorations, Rubaiyat, didn't manage to impress us. The food was great and the only highlight of the restaurant. Our experience got ruined by a mistake from the waiters. We ordered a vegetarian dish, however they served us another dish from the menu with a lot of meat. When asking them to give us what we ordered, they came back with the exact same dish but without the meat - which was only a piece of fish, no vegetables, no sauce, no nothing. What a joke. We insisted on getting what she ordered in the first place, but when they finally arrived with dish, the rest of the attendants (7) already finished eating and started ordering the deserts. A really uncomfortable experience, where we were forced to create drama in order to get the meal served. In the end, they offered to not pay for the wrong meal and gave us a free desert. The standout feature of Rubaiyat is undoubtedly its high-quality meats, grilled to perfection. The steak was juicy and tender, cooked to the requested doneness, and beautifully presented on a hot grill, keeping it warm throughout the meal. The grilled pork was equally impressive—succulent, flavorful, and complemented by a perfectly charred lemon for added zest.

The bread and accompaniments were a delightful start to the meal, featuring warm, aromatic focaccia with a crisp crust, cheese-filled rolls, and an assortment of flavorful condiments, including butter, pickles, and house-made spreads.

The restaurant boasts a cozy yet elegant atmosphere with rustic wooden interiors and a refined touch. The service was attentive and professional, with staff offering recommendations based on our preferences.

One of my new favorite places in Santiago! I had read very good reviews about this place but it was so much more than I expected. The service was perfect (probably impossible to find in Chile), the food was prepared with a great balance of taste and time. It felt like everything was extremely well coordinated. I tip my hat to the owner/manager of this place. Its a rare gem in Santiago.

Hands down one of my new favorite places to visit on a personal note and with clients.

As douchy as this may sound, I'm used to Japanese level service, which I consider the best in the world. Chile, on the other hand, is for sure on the lower, lower side of the spectrum regarding service. This was not the case. superb service, not just polite but warm and friendly.
