Rossi Trattoria 意滙 — Restaurant in Cotai Landfill Zone

Short version: Staff lied about ingredients in food when directly asked, allergic reaction, spent the next 5 hours having nausea.

Ate here a couple of days ago, for some reason the menu is in Chinese and Italian instead of English...Is there a huge Italian community that they don't need to cater to the English speakers? The menu for the dishes don't mention what is actually in each dish.. So we ordered a dessert - Torta al cioccolato (chocolate cake), I asked the manager if there was some type of goat milk or non-standard dairy in it because my wife can't eat most cheese or milk. He lied and said no, he claimed it only has chocolate and egg in it.. I do a fair amount of baking and I have Italian relatives and friends, there's no such thing as a chocolate cake that is "only chocolate and eggs", that would just produce a liquid.., no flour, no sugar? I am not sure if it was some butter derived from goat milk or some abnormal cheese used for flavouring, but tell customers what they are eating when asked.

Also, they did not tell us we could ask for more bread if we wanted more, and only found out upon leaving.

Would not recommend patronizing this place, instead go to the ramen restaurant...

Wow... Just wow... I came in expecting a normal italian restaurant, but was surprised by a completely amazing culinary experience. Starting from the welcome bread basket, that tasted heavenly.. With lovely olive oil and balsamic vinegar on the side. And so, i knew my order, a pizza. I ordered a simple Margherita while my friend ordered a Quatro formaggi pizza. Oh Boy! Hot melting Cheese, flavorsome Tomato sauce, crust baked to perfection. And my friend's Quattro formaggi, a symphony of cheese combined together. After this, we decided to have a Tiramisu, my all time favorite dessert in an Italian restaurant. And my god, did they deliver! I had never tasted a tiramisu that had such an intense bittersweet flavor of coffee yet so smooth. A delightful treat indeed with a perfect ending.

All in all, a wonderful experience, would recommend it hands...

The atmosphere is always relaxing, and there’s plenty of space between tables, allowing for a comfortable setting. Every dish is consistently delicious, and the service is both attentive and friendly. We always opt for their free-flow alcohol package, which includes sparkling wine, and it’s always been a great addition to the experience.
