To begin with, I will share the pics of this place once this review is approved as TA does not allow the first reviewer to upload photos. I am not sure why. After doing our windows shopping in Beijing Road, we came by here for our early dinner before heading back to our hotel. Although it was just 4.00pm, the restaurant was still quite full and we managed to get a table deep inside the restaurant. The restaurant was having a promotion set meal that if order half a roast goose, a free roast chicken will be given. So we ordered the roast goose with roast chicken, stir fried veggies and noodles with 2 free drinks. We also ordered an mixed ingredients porridge and deep fried red colour rice dumpling. Service was slow as the dishes were served not in tandem and some took quite a while to be served. The foods were nice and yummy, though a little salty and oily for some dishes. Prices were reasonable considering with the promotions and paid about 200~250rmb for the 5 of us. Well worthwhile.

可能是我不懂欣賞這店的艇仔粥和牛肉腸粉，不知其他廣州的粥店是否都一樣，艇仔粥有蝦1隻很腥，有連皮的魚片，完全吃不出是魚的質感，感覺在吃啫喱，魚肉的部份也一樣軟軟質感，粥面放了麵粉造的炸物，有點油嗌味，沒其他特別味道，衹有面頭的炒花生就很正常沒事，所以後來也不敢繼續吃下去，那幾片魚片真是超怪，不知是什麼來。粥有肉片應該是豬肉，質感硬又沒肉味連住好像有根。幸好回來也沒肚瀉，應該是吃不慣這種風味。腸粉也不是古早風味那種皺皮的腸粉，牛肉是一大片，好像很真材實料那種，但味道十分一般，不值得去廣州試，我當時只是行得累和有點餓，所以隨便在路上就進店，以為隨便一間普通廣州的粥和腸粉應該比香港好。 我估去廣州統傳大茶樓應該不是這樣吧！總之這間真的不用再試。
