Our very first meal in Guangzhou was the dim sum breakfast here. Located just 5mins walk from our hotel, we reached there at around 8am where the restaurant started it's day of business.
The ambience was nice, bright, trendy and modern, quite inconsistent with it's positioning as a dim sum or Cantonese restaurant.
We were first few groups of diners, and we were led inside to a sofa seat table. It was comfortable. So we ordered quite a lot of dishes since there were 5 adults including the century egg minced pork porridge, custard egg and charsiew bao, carrot cake, braised chicken feet, egg tarts, black bean spare ribs, paolo buns, prawn dumplings, chee cheong fun etc. Most of the foods were yummy as they were cooked/made upon ordering. We loved it!
The restaurant had an automatic water dispenser for making Chinese tea, it was so cool and initially we needed help to operate since we had not seen it before. The tea was flavourful and good too.
Service wise, generally ok, as the people tend to speak/shot louder and very straight forward. However, one thing that struck us off was that, diners were allowed to smoke inside the restaurant premise. It was quite smelly for non smokers.
Considering this was a popular restaurant and the foods were freshly made and yummy, the price paid was good value for money and it cost about 250-300rmb...
Read moreReach there about 10am. Lots of local uncles aunties already happily having breakfast/ brunch. Nice modern classic atmosphere unline the ground floor entrance reception/lift. Food is real yummy and huge portion. So do not over order at 1 go. Ordering via scan QR code but there are physical menu ordering option too. Am real pleaseddddd with the food. It's a little more classic homely food feel compare to the more famous TauTauJu, but both are fantastic. Pricewise cost us RMB200+ for like 7 dishes and tea, which to us quiet reasonable as the portion is huge......come here if you dont want to que at more commercial touristy...
Read moreA wonderful place that we visited for dim sum. The portion of dim sum is quite big. As such, order with care as not to waste food. The restaurant is located at Level 5.
