We’ve come here for both the evening barbecue sets and lunch specials. They’re both decent. A bit pricey (esp the kbbq) but the meat tastes good. The lunch specials were slightly disappointing. We got the soups/stews and they didn’t taste anything like the original Korean dishes they were supposed to be. The servers are usually attentive though they might seat you in a remote section and equip you with a bell (which is fine). This place is good if you need a local Korean fix but don’t expect amazing Korean cuisine (go to Kimberley Road for that).

It's no surprise that this is the first Korean restaurant to open in Hong Kong, with over 60 years of history. The flavors, atmosphere and service are all superb. And what's more, it has a lively atmosphere.I was first introduced to it by a Korean friend who took me there for dinner, where I enjoyed delicious pork dishes. As my office is also nearby, I have since frequently visited for lunch. The lunch menu is also abundant. I hope to try conquering it all. I wholeheartedly recommend it without any hesitation.

Fairly disappointing with its BBQ dishes (pork way too dry even not cooked long, seasoning of beef not quite tasty) given I had extremely fond memories of dining at Arirang in Seoul. Prices a tag cheaper than its major competitors in HK but tastes not as good, while location was quite off. Interior design was too dark for me & hence not cheerful enough dining there though services for this meal were better than its other 2 competitors when I ate out there.

WORST KOREAN BBQ EVER!! I went for lunch with my dad and we had the set lunch for 2 people. We had 6 side dishes, 2 orders of marinated beef, beef bibimbap, soup and dessert. The side dishes were ok. The marinated beef was literally 10 pieces of beef (we ordered 2, so 1 order is 5 pieces…?) and completely tasteless and chewy, the bibimbap had no taste whatsoever and barely any beef in it and the soup tasted like water.

The staff were nice and welcoming, however 1 staff member (who looked quite senior according to his uniform) kept coming to clear the table while we were eating. I personally don’t like that.

It was a really sad and disappointing experience because as a young child, my family and I use to visit Arirang in Times Square at least once a month. We heard they re-opened and we...

Fantastic Korean BBQ food, unfortunately spoiled but poor service recent times. I say this as we are long standing customers .. 15 years.

The lunch sets aren't worth the price as the protein size is reduced, and simply using an ASIA Miles accounts (4:1 miles) makes the same lunch sets = Ala carte.

The staff have been there forever & have forgotten they are in the hospitality business - taking for granted that the brand name will continue to draw customers. Staff attitude is subpar and they are super scared of the kitchen chefs therefore never accepting their...

The oldest Korean restaurant in Hong Kong I believe. We usually order the thick cut ox tongue, slabs of pork belly and Naengmyeon. We also order a side of veggies to wrap our grilled meats with.

We love their Naengmyeon here, haven’t found a another place that serves the noodles on top of beef broth. Most Korean restaurant serves it with pickle broth.

Pork is good quality, lots of banchan to choose from and will happily serve refills.

Their ginseng chicken soup is okay. A bit too mild for our liking. Not enough ginseng flavor. Overall a pretty...
