I have always adored Steinways, truly unbeatable. But what a horrific experience at their Gloucester Road branch, the salesperson Mr Ma wouldn’t let us (me and other customers) in without an appointment even though it was empty, we asked to quickly browse and if anyone arrives with an appointment we will leave. Said no, okay fine, whatever. So i asked for a pamphlet and he refused to hand me any sales materials. Then I asked for prices for uprights and baby grands and he begrudgingly mumbled some vague prices to me without even telling me the model/colour, so I asked for him to actually write it down and he scribbled down K142 and S188 price for me. I asked for Boston prices as well and he directed me to two Boston baby grands and then I asked him about uprights and he had the audacity to glare at me like I was inconveniencing him (he had no other customers at this point btw) and said they were inside the showroom. What in the world? Errr… so perhaps write those down for me as well if you won’t let me into the showroom? …would expect that level of service at a cha chaan teng, not at a Steinway store…it’s as if he does not want me to even consider buying one, let alone give me a chance to buy one. I hope this is not the Steinway sales protocol! I was so utterly...

2nd floor, guitars n drums, not helpful, even the contrary. seem to be reluctant to serve me as customer willing to buy and pay.

After showing me one product that didn't fit (not their fault, normal procedure), I had to come up with own suggestions. Then, they phone the TSTshop, but tell me products clearly existing there not to be available, even "theirs is broken". Next day I went to TST, they had it all, even more brands, perfect condition, and with good service. I don't know what's going on with them in...

I really like musical instruments and I want even one of it, but when I saw Tom Lee musical instruments store, I found everything , I think it is complete.

They have piano, ukulele, drums, cymbals, trumpet, and many more, in different brand and prices. And I saw all are very nice in quality. They have also some musical assesories, and also repairing shop.. very comfortable and well arranged.

Their staff also are kind in entertaining their customers. And so I can really buy my own...
