Lee House Restaurant – Wan Chai, Hong Kong I was in Hong Kong recently and had dinner at Lee House Restaurant in Wan Chai. I ordered their famous sweet and sour pork served on ice cubes, the traditional double-boiled soup, and a simple stir-fried greens with garlic. The food was simply heavenly — each dish perfectly balanced in flavor and texture. The pork on ice was a showstopper: crisp on the outside, tender inside, and refreshingly different from any sweet-and-sour pork I’ve had before. The double-boiled soup was rich, aromatic, and deeply comforting, while the greens were fresh, vibrant, and lightly seasoned to let the natural taste shine through. This is Cantonese cuisine at its finest, the kind you simply cannot find elsewhere. A must-visit for anyone wanting to experience true Cantonese...

Seriously, overrated.

Food I would say a BIT better than average, 3 stars, but nothing to be over excited about.

We booked for 10 ppl and had to pay deposit, and preorder some special items. They were good, but not great.

Service only 2 star. Overall poor attitude and didnt know how to introduce dishes when we asked. Told them when I booked that we have a baby with us, asked for a table in corner, reply was "it is really that day, so can't promise aanything ". Thanks...

Teapot with hot water still had traces of old batch of...

We had party of 5 for dinner. Website said no tables available for the night so we phoned to double check, we got a table right away and the place was almost empty. They have 2 private rooms with closable doors, minimum charge $5,000 and $10,000 respectively. Doors are not sound proof and they have Karaoke inside; we were seated in front of one and the noise was unbearable, we requested a table change and they complied. There are also 2 other ‘semi-private’ rooms that are open so I wonder why people would want...
