Three of us came here for food and a few drinks on a Saturday night before heading elsewhere. The place wasn’t busy when two of us arrived (just us and another couple with their dog) but it obviously picked up not long after. Still, it certainly wasn’t hectic when we made our food order. The vibe of the place is really laid-back and the happy hour - with a very solid selection of beers - goes until 9pm, which is great.
Unfortunately I couldn’t say the same for the general service or the food.
We ordered three mozzarella and portobello mushroom burgers and two portions of fries. We asked for a Cucumber Cooler cocktail shortly after for my girlfriend who arrived late.
The first two burgers took more than 30 minutes to arrive. About 10 minutes later the first portion of fries arrived with the third burger (the first two burgers were well-eaten by this point and myself and my friend started tucking in to the fries, leaving my girlfriend to eat her burger separately while picking at the side order and wondering where her drink was).
Between 5-10 minutes later, the second lot of fries and the cocktail arrived. It didn’t take long for all food to be finished and beers to be drank. That left my girlfriend feeling rushed to finish a cocktail she’d been hoping to enjoy 15 minutes earlier.
There was no apology for this slow service. Just two separate assertions that the cocktail was on its way.
Considering the bill reached nearly $800, including the ~$70 service charge, we expected better.
We’d recommend the truffle sauce if you decide to get the fries, but the burgers (with a $98 price tag) were...
Read moreReally good food and friendly staff. We had strawberry beer and the molten cheese and beef burger, and I added portobello mushrooms. The burgers were freshly made which meant that we needed to wait for a bit but that was OK. We ordered the drinks first and then we ordered the food so we weren't just sitting there. The food tasted good too, and was worth the price. They had a wide selection of beers that went well with the burgers. We had a vegetarian with us and he said that the veg burger they had (portobello mushrooms and mozzarella) tasted good too.
They also have a pool table and darts for customers to use. The one problem was that the place was a bit small — hence one less star — but aside from that, we made a really good decision to go there. Their selection of craft beers and their European ones too gives it an edge over many other burger joints in Hong Kong. I highly recommend trying the strawberry beer if you're having a burger with more meat because the lightness of the beer combines well. The view from the restaurant was fabulous, it's a dog friendly place and all in all a great place to go and hang out...

#HomeKong classic won’t go wrong 😉😎
Avo crab cake burger (pineapple buns)
The pineapple buns just elevate simple crab cake avocado to a whole new and delicious level! adds another dimension of flavor to the burger.😋
With so many American-style burgers in town, #Beeger decides to go its own way with Hong Kong twist. The menu is overwhelming in the best possible way with classic sirloin burgers, chicken burgers, seafood burgers and even mushroom burgers. You may just swap your regular buns for the HK classic pineapple buns.
Pineapple buns #菠蘿包 are one of my favorite Chinese pastries. The cookie crust crumbles delightfully in your mouth when you bite into the soft warm tender bun. Avo and mayo sauce also works well for a juicy burger. The patty just goes to the very edge of the buns. 😋
I was told I displayed a particular grin and head tilt 🤗 when biting into the burger. Super yum!!
