Sweet Dreamer Dessert (Kennedy Town) — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

There are numerous flavours of molten lava cakes and we tried 2 of them, pistachio and caramel, peanut butter. Both flavours are good, strong and sweet. It is very melty in the centre which is exactly how lava cake like. But, the texture is very weird, rubbery and stiff. The yogurt ice cream is also not matching with the cake. The sourness and the icy texture don’t fit with everything about the cake. Maybe the waffles or the other sweet soup will taste better. I am also a bit upset with the arrangement of the waiters. There is a big group of people coming in after my friend and I sat down, whom I believe they have made a reservation/a call. We then were squeezed into a corner with a shop overwhelming with people. If the waiter have informed us of this, we would have ordered takeaway. Basically I won’t revisit...

Terrible service... Me and my friend were forced to leave our table and get out even when we haven’t finished our food and we didn’t pass the time limit either. Totally no clue.. the service lady didn’t speak foreign language, looked angry, yelling us out. It’s true there was long queue outside, but it made a difference if we were treated fairly. This place def not worth a wait in queue. In terms of food quality, think it’s a bit over-priced given it’s tiny portion and crowded space. We ordered some icy sweet soup but it served as boiling hot with ice cubes in it... Also, they reject anyone who use ‘LeaveHomeSafe’ app... only handwritten form accepted, which is quite weird and not environmentally-friendly at all... Totally...
