An Exceptional Sunday Roast Experience! We visited Blend and Grind in Kennedy Town to savor their Sunday Roast, which begins serving at 3 PM, and we were absolutely wowed! The value is outstanding, offering generous portions of prime ribeye alongside other delectable options, all expertly cooked to perfection. Without a doubt, this is the best Sunday Roast my partner and I have experienced in Hong Kong. The service here is outstanding—super attentive and genuinely friendly. Raga and his team create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making the dining experience not only enjoyable but also fun! Nestled in a relaxed corner of the neighborhood, Blend and Grind boasts ample space and a fantastic playlist that sets the perfect mood. The thought put into the décor is impressive, making it a bright and comfortable spot ideal for any occasion. Of course, being a coffee lover, I must say their coffee is top-notch! We've also enjoyed several breakfasts here, all of which have consistently been delicious. A wonderful bonus is their dog-friendly policy, coupled with plenty of outdoor seating to watch the world go by. We truly couldn't ask for more from this delightful place! Alan

Although the staff were very gracious and friendly, they seem to be very poorly trained in food safety & food allergies. For an F&B establishment, this is very concerning. I ordered the corn & zucchini fritters, which came out quite bland, the batter of the fritters was still wet, undercooked and they were room at temperature. Perhaps they're meant to be served / cooked that way, similar to a Japanese okonomiyaki? But in my experience, fritters are served hot and crispy, cooked through with no wet batter. I also ordered the Berry Bomb smoothie which has strawberries, blueberries & raspberries in it. I informed the staff about my raspberry allergy, which she noted. However, my drink came out with tons of raspberry seeds in it which I spat out into a napkin. I double checked with the staff again, the male staff said the berries come in a big mixed bag that's why they couldn't be separated, but then the female staff reassured me there is NO raspberries in my drink. The restaurant was full, therefore the conversation was haste. I took her word for it as she was the staff for my table. I took another couple of sips after she reassured me, but my throat started itching a few minutes after. At which point I realized there were definitely raspberries in there and stopped drinking immediately. I mentioned it to the staff again and the male staff confirmed the berries definitely come in a mixed bags, but they had handpicked the raspberries out of my drink before blending it. I tried to explain to them that is not how allergies work and they need to request their boss for a proper training about food safety, cross contamination & food allergies. I was lucky that I only ever get mild discomfort, some people have severe allergies that could be lethal. Despite all that, I want to reemphasize that the staff really tried their best. They remained gracious and polite while running a full house that day. I just wish they were better trained and took customers' allergies more seriously. Because even after I tried to explain, they still brushed it off like it was no issues. I hope the restaurant manager / owner sees my review and invest some time & effort into training their staff better. Both front of house and back of house before someone gets seriously hurt.

My friend & I travelled from New Territories & Kowloon to Kennedy Town just for their widely advertised Sunday Roast. I even went ahead and tried to reserve (in which they said there’s no need to) AND double checked that the roast was available THIS Sunday. Then we showed up, STARVING, at 3PM sharp, only to be seated AND given the Roast Menu, then after 10 minutes of waiting, they told us: NO ROAST TODAY. With no explanation. The waiter said: “the chef said there’s no roast available”. We asked why, the waiter said: “I don’t know either, I don’t work on Sundays usually”. This is my last straw of this week. I don’t understand why a restaurant would widely advertise a menu they don’t even have and try to scam the customers to visit, just to tell them after seated that nothing they want is available ⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️

My friends and I walked into Blend & Grind with high expectations, only to be met with such horrendous service. The manager made insulting remarks about our intelligence when we politely asked for separate checks. The manager clearly did not understand what 'individual checks' meant, and how we wanted to pay separately instead of having one person cover the entire bill. However, our clarification was met with mockery, rendering us speechless. Imagine being called a '14-year-old' as an adult within this context. Not to mention, the drink he made was well below my expectations, to put it nicely.

The brunch here is amazing. We ordered the açai bowl and the blueberry-banana pancakes. Sensational food. We also ordered the matcha oat milk latte and horsing around fruit juice - just exactly what you need on Saturday morning. The music was a bit too loud when we came in, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating to turn it down. Service was top-notch and was very nice. If I’m being fussy, the only thing that I think they could improve on is the interior design and location because it’s opposite a construction site but it doesn’t really bother us. We enjoyed our fantastic brunch.

Blend and Grind is a coffee shop & cafe with a few branches around the city including this place along Catchick Street in K-Town. I had breakfast at this branch recently and found everything to be really good. Ordered their Avosmash - olive & tyme sourdough topped with smashed avocado, sun-dried tomato, feta, pumpkin seeds and lemon drizzle. It tasted really nice and went well with the well prepared macchiato, strong espresso blended with a bit of milk and foam. This was an overall nice and light breakfast at the Blend & Grind branch in K-Town. A good first showing. Nice job, guys.
