Recently we tried a Korean restaurant which located in Causeway Bay Fashion Walk. If you take MTR, you can get off at Causeway Bay station and walk to exit E. The restaurant is just 2-3mins away! They served excellent food and cozy atmosphere. The restaurant is called @gyojasang. We really love this place and it is good to have gathering with friends and family. We ordered quite a lot of dish and some of the food need to takeaway HAHA!
🍹Lychee Soda & Pineapple Soda ($48) 🥩 Korean Raw Beef ($215) We ordered this starter to share. We mixed the raw egg with raw beef and put it on the crispy seafood! Yummy! 🥬 Minali Paenkeikeu ($128) The portion was huge. It had a lot of different kind of veggie and shrimp in the pancake. 🫑 Cheong-Yang Gochutwigim ($86) This dish was deep fried cheongyang pepper with Pork. It was slightly spicy. 🍣 Gimbap with Sea Urchin ($380) You must order this if you visit this restaurant. The sea urchin is sweet and fresh. I had 4pcs and I would love to eat more!! 🐔 Korean Garlic Chicken Stew ($385) When the pot came, the staff asked us to wait for around 15 mins before we consume the food. There were a lot of ingredients inside the pot including potato, mushroom, chicken, rice cake etc. We drank the soup and it had strong garlic flavor. The chicken had absorbed all the soup and it meat was tender! Good to share with 2-3pax. 🦀 Ganjang - Gejang ($288) This is the first time I tried korean crab. The crab as marinated in soy sauce. I have put some rice on the crab shell. It tasted delicious!!
Overall, we love this restaurant so so much!! Would defo encore next month and try the Korean...
Read moreNot sure why this has below 5 stars, because it was an awesome meal for a not crazy price. Delicious Korean food, ever so slightly modernized. But completely recognizable. We loved almost every single dish; Tteokbokki was spicy and sweet and full of other stuff, not just rice cakes. Bibimbap beef (think it’s not called that on the menu) was so tender and subtle; with a nice wild rice mix. Finally the Korean fried chicken is not to be missed; no bones but that made it easier to eat!! Only thing to skip would be the beef and cheese pajeon; I’m sure the prawn and seafood varieties are amazing.
Do yourself a favor, eat here!! Plus they were still serving dinner at 9:15 pm on a Wednesday, a rarity this close...
Read moreThe restaurant has a traditional Korean vibe with a modern twist. Both the interior and the food are very Instagram-friendly the food tastes exactly as good as it looks. I would say their Korean pancakes are one of the best in town. Unlike the soggy pancakes usually find in other Korean restaurants, both the kim-chi pancakes and seafood pancakes were pan-fried to a perfect crisp. The beef and seaweed soup is an wonderful cure to handover. The pork belly were cooked at the table by the waitress and served on heat plate. I would definitely visit the restaurant again to try their other dishes...
