HoHon Eatery — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

Well in 7 days in HK I ate here twice so that should be a marker lol

I'm not tired of Chinese food (I've been in Beijing for the last two months and came to HK this week) but there are times I really crave a burger, and tbh, there aren't as many good options in Beijing.

HoHon is really close to the hotel I've been staying and with such great reviews, I figured I had to try it. I wasn't disappointed. The burgers are juicy, good quality and come with great toppings. They have a choice of sides (I go with the tater tots) and some drink selections. If I had to make a suggestion, it would be better variety of beers, but that's just me. They have some Italian dishes too, that look good, but when I do come back again, it will be for another burger.

A cozy restaurant ran by a lovely couple. They serve pasta and burgers, changing menu every now and then.

Recommend both pasta and burgers. Homemade bolognese is great. Many restaurants offer bolognese but Ho hon executes it perfectly - the pasta is al dante, sauce is great and the meat is not too oily.

For burgers, they offer fish, chicken and beef, while changing the pickles and mayo sauce regularly. You get to choose from a spicy and non spicy mayo. Fish burger is my favorite - the fish is juicy and the pickles matches the fish perfectly. Together with the charcoal grilled bun, the burger has a multi layered but balanced flavor that you cannot find elsewhere.
