Who loves cilantro say AYE! Kikanbo is a ramen is a popular ramen chain originating from Tokyo! Kikanbo’s mission was to allow customers enjoy ramen to delight all of their five senses. The experience is trying to portray a “demon with a spike club” - taste from the spicy ramen, sight from demons on the wall, feel from the heat from the open kitchen, smell from the spices and hear from the rhythm of the Japanese drums. They opened two restaurant chain like this in Hong Kong, and recommend you to jump on this spicy experience 😍 . 🍜 - Karashibi Miso Ramen with Coriander - I love how you can customise your bowl of noodles, adjusting your level of chilli and pepper. To enjoy my bowl of noodles, I chose less - but if you’re someone who loves spicy, I challenge you to try the UNI level 🙈 I love how they were thick noodles as they absorb in the soup. The soup itself was also quite thick. Best part, you can add tons of coriander! I love eating the noodles being soaked in the spicy soup base, it really gave it an explosion of flavour. This bowl comes with one piece of pork, refer to 4️⃣ for the size! . 🍜 - Karashibi Miso Ramen with 2 Big Pork - the noodle for this was the exact same as above, but it comes with two BIG pork. And they were massive. Refer to 5️⃣ for one piece of pork’s size! The pork was really tender and it melts in your mouth 🤤 . Revisit? Yes 🙌🏻 📌 - Causeway Bay (also another chain in TST) 2️⃣ - Karashibi Miso Ramen with 2 Big Pork ($135) + added Coriander (+$20) 3️⃣ - Karashibi Miso Ramen with Coriander ($130) . IG:...

They specialize in spicy ramen and you get to choose the level of spiciness for the chili and sansho.
The ramen shop is hard to miss as there is a huge Kanabō by the door!!! You order by scanning the QR code but I got a blank screen on my phone so the staff lent me her phone.

The bite and impact of the raw onion in the bowl was quite heavy and I kind of enjoyed it. The beef was also really delicious, tender and had a good charred flavor to it. My only gripe with the entire bowl were the noodles; they actually felt like the noodles you'd get a wonton noodle shop rather than a Japanese ramen shop. The gyoza were also great and pan fried perfectly and had a balanced flavor to the filling. Overall a great bowl of ramen that has a questionable...
