I have had the pleasure of dining at this Japanese noodle restaurant on multiple occasions and it has become my go-to place whenever I crave their delicious dishes. I wholeheartedly recommend it to my family and friends. The standout items are the premium fish broth, which pairs perfectly with the well-made noodles, and the crispy fish skin. The flavors are fresh and distinct, leaving you thoroughly satisfied. Additionally, the chefs put on an enjoyable performance while preparing the dishes. I especially recommend this restaurant to tourists who have a love for noodles and Japanese cuisine. However, do keep in mind that its popularity means there may be queues especially during weekend peak hours. To ensure swift service, it's advisable to decide on your order while in the queue, as the staff will ask for your choice (and payment) before entering the restaurant.

The restaurant specialized in fish based ramen. It was pretty unique. The ramen noodles were done well. Nice and chewy. The broth was light but flavourful. I preferred the clearer broth one but the frothy thick broth ramen was good too. If you like pork bone ramen, I would recommend the thicker broth one. It’s on the heavier side. Food was delicious, portion was a bit small and pricey for the amount but the food was tasty. Definitely recommended if you like something different to try. The experience would have been better if the chef and servers were friendlier. The atmosphere was a bit tense and unwelcoming.

○de▽ 鯛白湯らーめん or Maru De Sankaku is a Japanese ramen place specialized in fish broth ramen. There are mainly two choices of broth to choose from - either clear soup or thick soup. For those people that love fish broth, I would recommend you to try the thick broth 鯛白湯 which has more intensity of flavors. The ramen is served with Cha siu and tiny pieces of bream on top. It also comes with a dash of pomelo / citrus sauce that adds an extra dimension to the combo. Worth to try if you don't mind 'fishiness'.

Poor dining experience.

Food: expected more from a $140 ramen. Frothing the broth certainly didn’t add much to it.

Staffs were unfortunately unprofessional:

Egg was served almost 10min after the ramen arrived. I was told “do not serve the egg in the hot broth as it’s smoked”. I appreciate a gentle advice or a recommended way to have it but not being told.

“Chef” was incompetent. I overheard a conversation between him and the other staff questioning whether the Tsukemen broth need to be frothed or not, and the staff corrected the chef. I mean, the restaurant only serve 3 types of noodles, really? Does that mean frothing the broth is all show and no go?

Lastly, I shouldn’t have heard the staffs’ conversation but they were chatting as if they were at home.

Unfortunately,...
