Today Visit(1st day of August) The food and service continue to improve every day. after the recent heavy rains and typhoons, I returned today(1st day of August), a Friday, supposedly a day of prayer for Muslims. Since I arrived before lunchtime, the call to prayer had been playing from the moment the restaurant opened. It looked more like an ethnic shop. They also played pop music during lunch. From the moment I entered the small shop, the ethnic female shop attendant greeted me warmly. She is very nice and helpful. I ordered the Friday set menu for $143, which included a $68 meal: Tikka chicken with Indian fried rice , salad, chips, and a soft drink. A Mediterranean salad is also available for takeout. The red orange tikka chicken fried rice was spicy and full of spices. It never disappoints; it's always my favorite. I think the Mediterranean salad is quite new to me. suppose it is also fresh and good taste , too. I'll try it later and let you know next time, since it's takeout.
(Last Time Visit) I have been a fan of Habib's from the beginning of the pandemic till now. We went through the disaster like good friends, but we all survived to this moment. Today $68 lunch set from 11am to 5pm is still the same as usual, I ordered their Thursday set of macaroni chicken kebab wrap with chips and a drink. Hot and delicious.and the grilled meat rolls are also very good. Last time I came in the evening, I ordered the spicy tikka chicken salad because it’s summer. It was spicy and fresh and tasty, consisting of spicy red chicken slices that were soft and tender, spicy and tasty, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers purple onions, The service in the store is very good, Pleasant dine...
Read moreThis is the most terrible kebab I’ve ever had. It’s bread, minimal sauce, minimal meat and then some lettuce. I’ve been here 3 times. Each time it’s because it’s late and not many food options left in the hood. Each time I come here here I think, “there is no way the food was as bad as I remember, a kebab is always good….” But this place makes you realize a kebab can be just terrible. Don’t get me started on the pizza. Just a reheated frozen pizza. All in all, I hope this place closes. There is no worse food in tin Hau. And it’s not cheep!!!! Kebab should be epic...
Read moreI ordered the mixed kebab for takeaway. To be fair, i spent 10 minutes looking for a nice place to eat so it may get a little cold.
For the taste, i think it is a little bit underwhelming. The lamb meat is a little bit rubbery, and for me it desperately need more spice because it's too bland. The whole time I was eating the kebab i could only taste the lettuce, mayo and tomato.
The kebab is not rolled properly either , making it very messy to eat. At first they dont give you any napkin, but luckily i asked for some.
Overall, its a little bit...
