Wing Fat Restaurant — Restaurant in Hong Kong Island

Not sure if I had bad luck with my mother or not - but we were the only people to not be served any welcoming tea or water... They did it to a woman right next to us 1 minute later. Only difference is - I'm a highly tattooed and mixed race young woman. Im not sure if there was an element of fear or racism but it was upsetting seeing everyone else be served properly and with some service whereas we didn't for.. No reason as far as we could tell, we just came in the shop! The lady I paid at the end was sweet and seemed to respect that I was paying despite how I look.. I don't know. It is hard to know but it was upsetting that we were 100% targetted to not be welcomed the same way as the others around...
