Do not recommend! Unfortunately, we could not wait to leave this hotel sooner due to the conditions there. Although the room here costs over 100 euros / night for the cheapest type of room available(Studio Room), this hotel has some serious hygiene/health risk issues.

The hotel has black mold in all its’ bathrooms (around the sink, tiles and silicone sealants), so since the first night of getting there I started sneezing continuously and getting an allergy. We asked the reception about this and they were receptive to our complaint, which was nice, but told us all the rooms have the same issue so they basically renovated two other rooms that night (changing silicone with black mold around sink and shower, painting the walls) and moved us the next day - which was better, but also not great since the renovation materials were not dry and the room was not ventilated properly - they should do this regularly BEFORE guests arrive and complain, not during their stay

The air quality in the rooms is very poor as well, as the windows do not open for fresh air, the only ventilation is through the internal system which just recirculates air instead of introducing between rooms instead of introducing fresh air from the outside, so all the rooms smell like mold, humidity in the rooms is extremely high even if you leave the aircon / vent running non-stop.

They charge way more for the “Deluxe Room” although it is literally the same Studio Room, just at a higher floor, that’s it.

Most rooms have the closet doors missing also, and the kitchenette is not equipped with anything (not even a plate / fork / knife / chopsticks) so it is pretty useless, it crowds the room unnecessarily since you cannot actually make anything in it except for tea (which is expired in all rooms, as well)

The staff was helpful and receptive and the sheets / towels were clean, the beds were quite comfortable and the Studio Rooms have a nice view over Victoria Harbour and surrounding buildings - that’s why I gave this hotel...

I have had three long-term stays here and I'm sad to say the experience has been worse each time.

  1. The price of long-term stay keeps going up. I stayed in the same type of room every time and the monthly price has risen by about 40% in less than half year.
  2. Facility and cleanness are getting worse. There were 4 laundry machines when I first time stayed. And now there are only 2 left and the broken two have never been fixed the whole time. Also, only 3 out of 4 dryer machines are functioning. The problem has been there for more than 3 months and nothing is fixed. The floor of public area is always dirty, especially in lobby.
  3. The safety is always a concern. There is NO security at all. You DON'T need to swipe room card to get in lobby and the lift. And more than 50% of the time, there is NO ONE at the front desk. I have raised my concern to the booking manager and she told me they will strengthen the security soon, but I see nothing is changed after two months.

I really hope the quality of this originally lovely hotel will be improved in the...

Stayed for 4 nights. Each floor only have 4 rooms (cmiiw).

Hotel location close to Tin Hau MTR station exit A2 also Victoria park, and lot of food and convenience stores available nearby.

Check in and check out process was fast. The staff was nice. We got room at 12th floor with city view.

First impression, the room smells cigarette even smoking is prohibited, room was small, but well laid out, neat, compact and quite.

Basic amenities provided. Microwave, refrigerator, large LCD TV and ironing available.

Room cleanliness was fair. Air-conditioning was cool and blew directly into the bed.

Although the room was little bit old and there is some moss in the bathroom, but there is not much to complain about, because of the strategic location of the hotel and the price is relatively affordable.

Will recommended to...

I like these smaller hotels in HK neighborhoods. The hotel bed was excellent. Bathroom was clean and well equipped. Room was compact but efficient. UPDATE :Dec 2024: all of above still applies but a few new things to note, stayed for nearly a week and I observed WiFi latency and throughput was challenged to use even for simple tasks, and even when used as non peak hours like 3-6am. Second if you are in HK during one of the cooler times, such as less than 15C, there is no heating for rooms, only air conditioning and dehumidifier modes. So you will find the room quite cold late at night.

Stayed in the Business Suite & also a standard room. The staff was a standout especially Aaron. Cheerful, enthusiastic and makes for good conversation. Very helpful on his recommendations what is around the hotel. Layout was good n place felt spacious. The room’s kitchen you cannot cook, but there is a microwave & it comes with a washing machine. Clean & cleaners are quite efficient. Sheets not changed daily but towels are. Good value & would come back to stay. Very convenient, with an almost straight bus fr the airport A11. Bus stop is just a block away from hotel.
