We dined at Namaste Kitchen over the past year and it has been a hit and a miss. Most recently, we dined here in March and found our meal to be ok but less enjoyed then our last meal here last Autumn.
During this meal we tried the Lamb Bhoona and the Chicken Jhaneko, a Napalese curry that we have very much enjoyed in the past. While the curry sauces were fine, we found the lamb and the chicken to be quite dry and chewy, not taking the flavours of the curry particularly well. This made both less enjoyable than they should have been. Rice and naan orders were just fine.
In the end, a much less enjoyed meal at Namaste than what we have experienced in the past. However, this could have simply been a Sunday issue, a problem we have found with many restaurants in Hong Kong over the years when head chefs are having their day off. Instead, I would recommend Basmati, another Indian restaurant where we ended up dining for three dinners. The taste, vibe, and service there were...

I love when spontaneity rewards you delightfully, and the Lamb Bhoona and Ghurka Chicken did just that.. very flavoursome, although we could have tackled a little more spice from them.. the rice was colourful and fragrant with light oil and seasoning. We lined out bellies wig the veggie samosas, which were both crispy and not overpowering or stodgy. Washed down with a mango lassi on the sweeter side, we were indeed at Nepal-ease with our full bellies and the...
