⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ 4.0 Delicious Korean Feast & Smooth Reservation Experience – Just Mind the Mall Logistics!
Visited Pizza Maru on a busy Friday night with a reservation and had a great time! Here’s the scoop:
🧀 The Food Shines Pizzas & Fried Chicken: Absolutely delicious – cheesy, flavorful, and worth the hype. The specialty drinks were a hit too! No Rush Despite Time Limit: Even with the 90-minute seating policy, staff never rushed us to leave. We enjoyed our meal comfortably.
ℹ️ Key Practical Notes BOOK AHEAD!: Walk-ins face very long lines (even on weeknights). Reservation saved us! Stroller Policy: Not stroller-friendly inside – you’ll need to leave it outside the dining area. They do provide high chairs for little ones. Language: Most staff don’t speak Chinese – English is the go-to. Mall Elevator Hassle: Getting to the 13th-floor restaurant is tricky! Not all elevators access this floor. With a baby stroller, it took us extra time to find the right one. (Note: This is a Hysan Place issue, not the restaurant’s fault.)
✅ Overall A top choice for tasty Korean pizza and chicken in Causeway Bay! Ideal for groups who book ahead. Just plan extra time for elevator logistics if bringing a stroller. We’d return – especially since reservations ensure a...

Pizza Maru is a restaurant that promised to deliver an intriguing fusion of Korean and Italian cuisines. Located in the vibrant Hysan Place shopping mall in Causeway Bay, the establishment caught my eye with its inviting atmosphere and eclectic menu.
For my lunch, I decided to embark on a culinary taste, ordering the Kimchi Garden Lasagna and the Meatball Pizza, along with a refreshing Seasonal Iced Tea.
The perfect balance of taste left me thoroughly impressed, and I found myself eagerly savoring every bite.
But the real standout of the meal was the Pizza. One notable aspect of the Meatball Pizza was its generous size, easily large enough to be shared by two or even three people. This made it a great option for groups or those with hearty appetites, as the substantial portion allowed for ample sampling and sharing of the unique flavors.
Overall, my dining experience at Pizza Maru was a delightful surprise. The fusion of Korean and Italian cuisines, executed with skill and creativity, resulted in a truly unique and...
Read moreThis restaurant serves Korean style pizzas and fried chicken. I have been a customer of this place for past few years (previously it was located in the food court in the same building).
The pizzas here are very tasty, nice topping selections and have unique toppings that actually works (my personal favs are the potato pizza and the mango seafood pizza). Supposedly the pizzas here are healthier as the base dough is made with green tea, not sure on that, but it surely doesn't compromise on taste and actually I like the pizza base here which is the most important part of pizza! The thicker bases dough are soft and fluffy on the inside, but crispy on the outside without being too hard.
Fried chicken here is nice too, quite juicy and not too expensive compared to similar places. But I would say the pizzas here are the star show at this restaurant. Lunch is on the cheaper side compared to other Korean chicken restaurants in the area (around 100-150hkd per head). And lots of seating available during lunch, can walk in.
Pasta dishes here aren't too great, just standard pasta, recommend...
