I used to come here once or twice a week as the food is ok, probably one of the better of the bunch along soho east. The beer selection is not good, just your standard asahi type rubbish lagers. And the coffee is bad too. I really wish one of those restaurants along the front would invest in a proper coffee machine and serve decent coffee as nobody does it. Anyway the reason I give it 2 stars is the staff, they are really awful. They’re happy to try and get you off the street as you pass, but once you’re in you’re treated to rudeness and terrible training, and both managers I’ve met (the man and woman) are guilty of that also. They will only treat you well if you stand up them and tell them your grievances, at which point they realise their wrong doing, or they realise that you may complain. They hand you the bill before you even finish your meal (almost every time I’ve been there), walk away as your ordering, snap at you if you question anything and plenty more I can’t be bothered to write: just a miserable bunch, I’ve spent many years in the hospitality industry and will say that mostly customers appreciate just a little bit of a smile and basic training. I...

Lazy and unprofessional.

Upon sitting down, the waitress took the wrong order and delivered the wrong food despite me confirming the order several times when she was taking it.

The most unacceptable part is their eggs Benedict. As a restaurant branded as Western cuisine with waitresses only speaking English you would expect them to get this classic brunch correct, but no, the poached eggs are the only element vaguely resembling the original dish.

Just one simple Google search and you will see an eggs Benedict consists of English muffin, poached eggs, ham and most important of all the hollandaise sauce. However when I was served everything about the dish is wrong. It was served with buttered sourdough toast and no hollandaise at all, and they even added melted cheese to the dish. Upon the 4 elements in this dish they missed two and added one. The taste is below average, and not what I ordered at all.

This disgrace of an eggs Benedict was charged at around $130 after service charge.

Just shows how lazy the chef is to get such a simple dish wrong. 100% would...

At The Salted Pig 豬門店 - a Chinese name which tells what they specialise in, how can you not have some Pork?

“Grilled Pork Tomahawk”

A giant steak of pork that’s sufficient to feed at least 2, it has a nice char on the surface and seasoned well. Served with fries and yummy bacon-sautéed brussels sprouts, it’d be perfect if the meat could be cooked a minute or so less to preserve its tenderness and juiciness. Also, the cinnamon apple sauce was creative but could be lighter to complement the pork.

“Sharing Snack Platter”

This enormous platter literally span across the table, featuring scotch egg, pork skin crackers, piggy riblets, mini beef burgers, chicken wings, crab cake, calamari grotto and fries.

I love the pork skin - extremely crunchy and goes well with beer. The beef patty on the burger was a surprise. The same spices was used for ribs, wings and calamari but it was tasty. I’d order this platter...

This all-you-can-eat beef steak experience on Tuesday is a dream come true for meat lovers. The steaks are juicy, tender, and cooked just right—whether you like them medium-rare or well-done. Each bite is packed with flavor, and the generous portions mean you’ll never leave hungry. The salad adds a fresh touch, with crisp greens, colorful veggies, and tasty dressings that balance the richness of the meat. The presentation is simple but inviting, and the photo shows a hearty plate that’s both satisfying and delicious. It’s the kind of meal that’s perfect for sharing with friends or family. Whether you’re here for a valuable treat, this place delivers great value and mouthwatering food. If you love steak and want to eat to your heart’s content, this spot is definitely worth checking out. $88 per head for free flow of beef and wine. After dinner, you can enjoy the view and a walk outside the restaurant near the pier.

I'm always in this area for lunch but have been going to the same 2 restaurants the whole time. Came a bit early this time and 'my favorites' weren't opened yet hence I gave this place a try. Turned out the staff were friendly and food at this place is far better than I thought. As soon as we sat down, the staff gave my son some color pencils and a Paw Patrol coloring sheet which happens to be one of his favorite cartoon characters. The Piggy Pancake from the kids menu wasn't just a round shaped pancake with berries but it was a piggy (more like a teddy bear if you ask me) shaped with berries as the eyes, nose and mouth. My son was in absolute joy when it was served. The chicken breast from the power breakfast was tender and the veges along side were tasty. The eggs benedict were great and I like the combination of eggs on sourdough. Overall the portions are small but the taste have made up for it.
