Saw this place advertised with an "after party" following Coldplay Concert and went. The experience was disappointing due to poor preparation and management. The area was unprepared for the influx of customers immediately after the concert, resulting in a long queue at the door. The space was too small to accommodate the large crowd, forcing some to ask for standing tables, which also quickly filled up, causing more queuing issues. Staff appeared inexperienced and overwhelmed by the volume of customers.
We ordered 2 customized cocktails which were Coldplay-themed, but after waiting for about half an hour, neither drinks nor snacks arrived. Despite the "after party" branding, the bar did not have pre-made drinks ready to serve the crowd efficiently. Instead, there appear to be some other pre-made drinks lining on the bar, but were left unused, indicating poor anticipation of demand. Ultimately, we left without having any drinks due to the long wait and...
Read moreI visited Hungry Tiger Hidden Dragon after Rugby 7's -- just a 2min walk from the Kai Tai Stadium, so it's the perfect hang out spot for those who want to continue the buzz from an event without going too far. The restaurant is spacious and seating comfortable.
The food was surprisingly good - the perfect blend of quality and innovation. The portions are not huge, allowing you to get a sampling of various dishes, all fo which were absolutely delicious. The pizza, the chicken wings, the corn were among my favorites.
The service was also very good. In fact, I had left my cardholder at this restaurant and the restaurant called me over 8 times over 5 days (I hadn't picked up as I was travelling overseas) and left me a voicemail that they had found my cardholder and that they'd keep it for me until my return to HK. Needless to say, I became even more impressed with the service than I already was.
This is certainly a restaurant that I...

I recently dined at Hungry Tiger Hidden Dragon with a friend around when Coldplay was in town and we thought we were lucky because it was not crowded, however I felt compelled to share our frustrating experience. We attempted to use a dining coupon, only to be flatly refused by the staff. The reason given was that it was lunchtime and not dinner, which left us confused. One staff member even condescendingly insisted, “It’s dining, it says DINING!! DINING!!” Pointing at the word with such rude gesture to us as if we do not understand what “dining” means
While we understand that some people may confuse “dining” and “dinner,” it was the attitude with which this was explained that was truly off-putting. It felt dismissive and rude.
The service we received did not meet basic customer service standards.
I hope others can learn from our experience and be cautious when...
